RE: Front Bunk Door Woes - Finding the Right Parts

Need more info. Seals are found in zoos or the ocean. Thing-a-ma-jigs or thing-a-ma-bobs?

RE: Saw a unicorn F-150 on the road yesterday!

A local dealer had a red Chevy 1500 regular cab short bed on the lot. It was gone the next day. I see it around town often. A young girl is driving it.

RE: 2008 Jayco M-28 Quality

NADA is 29k and he's asking 42k? If those are true numbers, why are yiy even considering this? He won't come down in price to anywhere near NADA.

RE: Extended Service Plan - How long to receive refund?

From what I've heard, they usually apply the refund amount due to the end of the loan. You may never receive a check.

RE: New 5er coming

700 miles will 14 to 16 hours with fuel and potty stops. I would stay at least one night as close to the dealer as possible and one night on the road. Relax, it's a RECREATIONAL VEHICLE!

RE: How fast do you drive with camper on? .

On a trip last year on I80 from Omaha west I was passed four times in one day by an F150 and TT probably going 80 mph. I usually drive 62 to 65. When we got to the RV park for the night. The F150 was just finishing his check in. Drive whatever speed your comfortable at.

RE: Anyone Completely Redo Their Interior?

If you enjoy the work, and have the time, go for it. It will be for your own gratification, you will never get the money back. Start at the top and work down and you can also repair any water damage on the way.

RE: 20' travel trailer and an inflatable raft

Deflate while traveling. Inflate when fishing. Problem solved!

RE: Towing with 2004 Lincoln Aviator

If it feels sluggish you'er already pulling the trailer. Of course it feels sluggish. Thats a lot of weight for a mid size SUV. I wouldn't do it, but you may have lower standards.

RE: 1984 Ford Honey

She wants $6000 for the memories. Way overpriced, but she would be insulted if you offered what it is worth. $500 max.

RE: Opinions on diesel vs. gasoline

How many miles do you plan on traveling in a year. Lotsa miles get a diesel, fewer miles get a gas. The extra cost of a diesel will take along time to pay back if you don't drive a lot of miles. If you absolutely need to be first up a hill, get a diesel.

RE: interchangeable parts years for cross country

Some parts are almost universal. Some are year specific. What parts are you needing?

RE: Replacing front landing gear box and motor.

What do you think is holding the fiver up? Of course it will fall. Hook up the truck and support and chock very well so the truck and trailer does't move.

RE: Duramax Turbo adventure conclusion

Loading the parts cannon without proper diagnostics is always expensive.

RE: Highway speeds - Keep your distance!

The ones that tick me off are drivers that come up in the left lane, get even with your back bumper and stay there mile after mile.
