RE: Table Rock Lake, Mo

We were there the first of April. Water level was at 916.95. And I think the first photo is site 57. The same site we were in for 4 nights. The site was/is close to the water. In your photo the picnic table/patio is under water. Thanks for sharing.

RE: Hite, Utah Camp Grounds

We overnighted at Hite last Sept. The campground was closed. It was being remodeled. There was a brand new modern restroom building. We pulled down the boat ramp and setup on one of the several boondocking spots. Campground might be reopened by now.

RE: Boysen State Park & Sinks Canyon, Wyoming Questions

We've stayed at the Sinks CG several times. Always enjoyed the stay. With your rig you shouldn't have a problem, if sites are available.

RE: Looking for Campground with Club House St. Joe or KC area.

The golf course is on the other side of the lake from the campgrounds. I'd say 6-8 miles around to get there. I've been to several parties there, but not 100% sure it's open for general public rental. Here's their site .

RE: Looking for Campground with Club House St. Joe or KC area.

hhorig, There isn't any Summitville Lake near KC. It's Smithville Lake, it doesn't have a club house but the golf course has a room it rents out but it's not near the campgrounds. They have shelters in the campground to reserve.

RE: Fifth wheel shopping question, rear tow hitch

I see you are from Texas. Before engaging any further, you should check out the laws in your state pertaining to double towing and your overall vehicle length. In Texas, the total length you can be is 65 feet. And Texas does not allow double tow. Check it out yourself: Apparently, you have not spent much time in Texas. Yes 65' is the limit ;) but pulling a trailer/boat behind a 5W in Texas is a common. I've done it for the last 14yrs, from NW MO to the RGV and back.

RE: I-35 or I-335?

Traveling I-35 from Texas to Iowa, I'd connect up with I-435's westside loop. North on 435 to Mo highway 152 east bound back to I-35.

RE: I-35 or I-335?

Are you asking about I-35 and I-435? Kansas City doesn't have a I-335.

RE: Lake Somerville, Texas - Which Campground?

We always stay at Yegua Creek on our way to/from the RGV. Nice park. Easy in-out for us.

RE: Rio Grande Valley

Birders love the Texas State Parks along the Valley. Usually no problem getting a spot for a night or week.

RE: Whitehorse Walmart is going to ban overnight RV parking

I have agree, it's not Walmart's problem where they go. It's the employers of those seasonal workers to assist finding or provide a place to park their RV. If that can't happen, then it's up to the city of Whitehorse to respond.

RE: Whitehorse Walmart is going to ban overnight RV parking

Why would anyone in their right mind go all the way to the Yukon and camp in a Wal-Mart parking lot? Why would anyone who lives there? Why? If you're in the Whitehorse area for a seasonal job, it might be a pretty good option. Rentals are expensive, and hard to find at any price. Explorenorth, I have to ask. Are you condoning seasonal workers staying at Walmart in Whitehorse? Because they have no where else? :? A night or 2 but seasonal!!

RE: Looking for RV park in OK or TX for 6 weeks this winter

"Well isn't that pleasant" But it's true. For warmer temps you need to be below I-10 or closer to it.
