RE: Labels for wire bundle that won't fall off

I use a Brother P-Touch Cube Smartphone Label Make. It uses a smartphone app to create labels that are water proof. and zip ties that have a place for labels. Monoprice Marker Cable Tie 4 inch Both available on Amazon.

RE: Fridge project for the fall

Here is what I used in my roof exhaust. 4 fit perfectly. I can not hear them. They do not move a lot of air, but work in my application.

Try to turn off the "auto idle mode" It is a kind of economy setting. Like lower watt output.

RE: cleaning 7-pin receiver connector on truck

Don't use dielectric grease. (Google it's definition it's not what you want) Use Contact Cleaner and Lubricant.

RE: Opinions on best anti theft hitch lock type device.

I just use a old hitch ball that has the shank cut off and a a hardened lock on the all clamp. Inexpensive and difficult for someone to clamp on ad take your TT

RE: Air Shocks or Air Bags on TT

This is a topic I like as I believe I corrected. My 7 to 9 year old TTs I did the following. Removed plastic & thin OEM suspension parts and replaced with HD shackles, brass bushings and wet bolts. Next I removed the solid metal equalizers and replaced with Dexter EZ-Flex equalizers, that have a rubber cushion in between the springs. (There are other mfg with similar cushioning equlizers) Better ride and less sway!

RE: Electric brakes issue

I see this often here on RV.net, but Dielectric grease is used for sealing, protecting and electrical insulating. Improves electrical performance by reducing arcing, voltage drop and other conditions. This will help keep out water and other contaminates. But it does not clean or lubricate your plugs, the cleaner mentioned earlier is what should be used first to make better contact.

RE: Parking at Niagara Falls Canada

Here's a link about the "Go System" People Mover PS check the COVID-19 restrictions before you come. Right now you must be fully vaccinated and have a negative test within 72 hr prior to crossing. Then you must register on the "CanEntry" website. You all need to carry all verification paperwork with you as you cross.

RE: Dutchman Astoria Water heater won't light

On any new RV or new propane tank you need to purge the air out of the propane lines. Most go to the cook top burners and light one, make sure it fully lights for 30 to 45 seconds, and then try the HW Tank once or twice.

RE: Tire Pressure Q

For carrying a TC you might want to go up in tires and get load rated D or E. They have stiffer sidewalls, therefore less flex and less heat.

RE: Help planning trip to include Delaware

Here is a pretty place to stop. It is just north of Delaware in PA Longwood Gardens Along the way from Ohio, you could stop at the Horseshoe Curve near Altoona, PA. Or Gettysburg, PA. Or The National Watch and Clock Museum WNYBob
