RE: Front end noise at super slow speeds

Pull a front wheel off and check to see how worn the brake pads are. Most have a small metal peice that will touch the rotor giving a constant noise. May not be the problem but is easy to check. 4 wheel drive?

RE: Chasing down gas leak?

I had a similar problem, along with the slight smell i noticed when a burner was on the flame was not as high as normal. I dis connected the hose at the botle then reconnected. No more problem, don't know what was wrong but the problem was gone.

Gray water to black tank?

Recently went to the bathroom and the floor had about an inch of water on it. The bowl was full and would not flush because the tank was full. Can water from grey tank (shower) get into the black tank? This never happened before. Had 2 teenage boys with me on this trip and they have no idea what caused the problem. Thoughts?

RE: RV Roof Tape

Eternabond is a good product, think I have seen the other you mentioned and believe it is made by one of the larger suppliers. As mentioned get all other residue off then clean with naptha or other good comparable cleaner. When it is down it is very hard to move, using a roller to press down is helpful to get a good adhesion. I have some that has been in place over 5 years that is starting to crack on top but it is still doing the job.

RE: 7.3 Diesel help

Check into Hypertek tuners. Had one on my 7.3 for sometime, made a lot of difference.

RE: Gray water

No water in shower, noticed a leak near the handle you pull to drain tank. Had been camped for 3 days. Bottom is enclosed so could not see at the time. Seem to stop within minutes after tank was drained. After our recent snow and freezing temps here in Texas there were no leaks when water supply was turned on and no sound from a water leak. But maybe it had to soak thru insulation before leaking? Thanks for the comments!

RE: Roof

Replaced my EPDM roof with material supplied by Dicor. Had no leaks so no roof repair as in wood was needed. Did put luan over the existing plywood roof so would have better adhesion. Had 2 good helpers, it went about like you would expect. Remove old material and replace. No problem with ac and vents etc. Just do it.
