RE: Delaware and Maryland camping help

In Delaware you want Delaware Sea shore park. State park full hooks ups walking distance to beach. Masseys Landing is not a bad high $$ alternative. Next choice is further south in OC, MD. Frontier town or Castaways. Western, MD consider further west Deep Creek Area. You can stay at Deep Creek State Park or Double G Campground. If you are set on the Brunswick Harpers Ferry Area try Harpers Ferry KOA. A bit small and tight but in a great location to see the attractions. You may want to consider the Gettysburg PA area. Close to western MD with a lot more campground choices. Hello! In the Western MD area you suggested, is there much to do? I like western/central area, at least by map, for proximity to national park lands to go see. What would I be looking at as far as drive time from the area you suggested to those attractions? I’m not set on Brunswick per so, but I liked the campground/white water rafting in one location. However the proximity to the train is a concern as well.

Delaware and Maryland camping help

Good morning! We are visiting Western Maryland for 4 nights from 7/2-7/6, then going to the Delaware coast from 7/6-7/10. We need full hookup sites. We want to see the mountains and ocean during this trip. Maryland- I found River & Trail outfitters in Brunswick, which offers RV camping and whitewater rafting/tubing together. It says it's close to 3 National Park areas as well, which we always love. I'm wondering what you guys suggest for "must do" things in this area? Or is there a better place to camp? Delaware- I'm wondering where the best area to camp is on the coast for access to day trips and the like, that offers water front camp sites. In researching, it's been tough to find full hookup sites along the coast during this busy time. I found a nice CG (Treasure Beach) in the far south near Fenwick Island. It looks like a gorgeous area but I want to see if that's a good spot for a 4 day camp. Perhaps it's better to stay closer to the middle of the State so we can experience more? Any ideas are appreciated!

Salem campers input

I have a buddy at work looking at a 2021 Salem TT. He did some review reading and saw that people had problems w roof and leaks. Made him a little nervous so I told him I’d ask you guys your thoughts. I told him about regularly checking caulk and such but figured I’d ask y’all.

Help me plan my trip please! RI, DE and MD

It’s that time of year for us to plan our 2 week camping trip in July. We go the first couple week of July every year. We’ve been to much of the northeast/Cape Cod already, but haven’t been to the Rhode Island, Delaware or Maryland. We plan on spending 4 days or so in each State. Looking for waterfront campgrounds and must see/do things. We usually concentrate on National Parks, but there aren’t any in these states (we’ve been to Acadia). I have kids that are 9, 14 and 16 and we love hiking, scenic drives, anything outside adventurous as well as usually tourist trap and such. Any help is appreciated!

RE: “Must Do” things while in Clearwater Beach, FL

Double ditto on the Aquarium. What do you like to do? What are YOUR interests? Museums? Architecture? Physical activities (like waterboarding, miniature golf)? TripAdvisor does list some varieties of activities too. Light hiking, scenic areas, historical areas etc. thanks!

“Must Do” things while in Clearwater Beach, FL

I’m requesting some help again ;) We’re at the Clearwater KOA and I’m looking for must do things to do while we’re here. I’ve been told Honeymoon Island is in the list, as well as of course Clearwater Beach. What else do you suggest? Kids are 9, 13 and 16. Thanks in advance!!

SW Florida Campgrounds

Looking for suggestions on where you’ve lived in Florida’s Southern Gulf Coast. My kids’ school got reshut down, and so did my wife’s job, so we’re gonna a take a week or so and get out of the Michigan cold. I need a family resort as I have kids between 9-16, and also need good WiFi since they have virtual school classes each weekday. Looking for something on the waterless if possible, or at least close. Looking at the Clearwater KOA but it’s pretty steep. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!
