RE: 2022 Ford Super Duty interior?

maybe its because i have the Platinum but i/m very happy wit the interior even nearly 4 years later, it has worn extremely well and still looks darn near new. Other than the huge 12" screens in the new trucks i don't feel anything is missing or outdated looking and its paid for in another few months.....

RE: Good Year buying out Cooper tires

Used to run Cooper on all my trucks/Broncos in the 1980's/1990's Great tire---then! After no longer FTng and time for new shoes I decided to not go with Michelin and get a set of Coopers Hate them.......will not use Cooper again They are NOT same Cooper as before Can't see GY Improving them On cold mornings they feel square until they Finally warm up then a bit better They do NOT wear as well as the Michelins did And had to have tire shop re-balance/rotate on rim/balance and try again They had a tough time getting them balanced W/O hanging HUGE amounts of weights Nope.....Cooper are NOT the same Coopers my experience with Cooper tires has been much the same, I've had sets on different cars and trucks and they have al left me disappointed with wear issues, trouble balancing and poor performance. I'll stick with other brands for now.

RE: 5th wheel tire review

I've had some Bridgestone Duravis R500HD's o mine in LT215/85R16 since the summer of 2018, they've covered approx. 38000km's to date and still look pretty much like new. They haven't shown any signs of drying out, no cracks and up to date i couldn't be any happier with them.

RE: 200,000 Mile Milestone

truck looks fantastic for 100k miles let alone 200K, you wouldn't have one looking that good with 200k miles around here! Heck mine looks about as good as yours but its several years newer and only had 90K kms/56k miles. **** Canadian winters take a toll on everything.

RE: Spendy used tow vehicle

proof that a new 3/4ton or 1ton SUV would sell well imo. Ford, GM , Ram are you listening?

RE: Lowering rear of truck

i swapped out the blocks in mine for factory 2016 units (2" instead of 3 3/4") and i lowered my truck's rear end by about 2", looks like a leveled truck now and my fiver sits nice a level. I did this in 2017 and its been fine the whole time.

RE: Fords new 7.3 Godzilla

2012 V-10 [email protected], [email protected] 2020 V-8 [email protected], [email protected] Like,I said the numbers, although a bit higher do not seem to go well for an engine designed for hauling weight. All the power output is too high in RPM. And unless they are going to give you 100% throttle control, all that is useless if they are gong to pull the throttle opening back when you need it the most? Like they do with current and past motors. I’d like to see both graphs on beside each other as I believe the 7.3 makes more HP/TQ at the V10’s peak rpm levels, it just happens to keep making more HP/TQ at higher rpm’s.

RE: 2021 Ford Bronco

I was excited about it until I learned it was IFS which is not ideal for the kind of off roading I do. I will stick with my JK. Folks seem to love the Toyota 4Runner, FJ and Tacomas just fine, not reason this can't be a performer offroad. Its less of a compromise to live with than a Solid front axle rig.

RE: General Grabber ATX?

This what I’m running on my truck currently since last summer and they are wearing very well, nothing bad to report.

RE: Support trailer build and story...ideas and the why

Really cool build, I could see something like this in my future once the kids are grown up, I’d use it as more of a shop with space for bikes, a side by side and a couple of smokers and grilles but much the same concept.

RE: TIres, looking for long wearing, all weather load range E

I swapped out my factory Michelin’s last summer as the we’re getting down to around 5/32 and really didn’t provide wet weather performance anymore. I went with General Grabber ATX in the factory size and have been extremely happy to date. They are very good in the snow and rain, as for wear it’s harder to tell as I’ve only got around 15000km’s on them currently but they have only worn down to 14/32 to date - should be a 60000-70000km tire. Well i hope your Generals last longer than the OE's on my 11 DRW did. At 25k they only had 1/3 tread left and had a big tread separation on a front tire. It’s the newest revamp of their Grabber line, I agree that the **** that got put on as OEM over the last several years wasn’t much good but everything I’ve read and now experienced with the latest batch of new General products has been positive. Normally I run Michelin’s but decided on a change because of all the positive reviews and tests, plus these tires were nearly 600$ less for the set than another pair of the Michelin AT2’s so I figured why not. I run Defender MS on my wife’s Explorer during the summer and also Pilot Super Sports on the Shelby so I’m quite familiar with the quality and performance.
