RE: Campground recommendations for the FL panhandle

Panama city beach rv resort. Not a lot of trees, but big sites clean and close to the beach. Always Top Sail and Henderson beach. Both state park which will have more of the camping feel. Check out the 30A area east of Destin. Watercolor, Rosemary Beach ect.

Full Circle back to TT

Well made it back to the TT forum after a few year of traveling with a class A. Loved traveling with the class A, Best way to travel in my opinion. One thing about the RV life style is you can always change your mind. Met some great people on the road and we still get together. Now spend a little extra time at our seasonal with our new Jayco 34rsbs We may be back on the road in the future, but right now a little relaxing in our vibrating and heated recliners! Something seems wrong about that.... Stay safe and enjoy everything you do!

RE: Price to expect if a RV dealer buys my coach

As was stated earlier. Take the low retail and 80% of that will be close to what you will get from a dealer. That's if you are getting a good price on the other coach.

RE: 5 figure 30 foot

Whatever RV I've had I was looking for the next one:) I would buy a used gasser class A like tiffin, Newmar or other good quality brands. I too don't like the depreciation. I'd rather put in 5000 dollars in fixing something on mine instead of having the 5000 disappear in depreciation (or more). Just seems like I'm getting something. I know money is money. Now I'm looking at a used pusher, but I'm taking my time and pretty sure what I want. Just want to get a good price because I know that it will need tires, batteries, windows fixed, etc, ect, ect. plus depreciation. Even in an older coach just not as much. My wife could drive mine if she had to. She is a good driver and in a car she doesn't mind it. I'm not sure she would drive any rv even though she thinks she might. I just have to remind her I don't want to drive more than 6 hours at a time. I've driven pushers with air ride. Could probably drive them farther, but I know they would be easier to drive 6 hours. Motorhomes are expensive to maintain. Much more than your current setup, but it is the best way to travel IMHO

RE: Workhorse W22, Chevy 8.1l exhaust rattle/noise

Yes. Hopefully it's a shield. Known for exhaust manifold bolts breaking.

RE: Battery Question

Good idea about the knife switch. I'll try that. Thank you

Battery Question

Yes I know. Another battery questions. I have a 2002 tiffin Allegro Bay and had a question about chassis and house battery. I have not run it for about a month as I have in the past. When I went to start the motorhome the chassis and house batteries were dead. I had the 12 volt disconnect switch switched. I knew that since none of the lights in the rv worked. I was surprised that the starting battery was dead. If I left the radio on (its hot wired to the battery) would that drain the deep cycles as well? looks like they are all hooked in parallel. I know if I had the inside lights on in the rv it wouldn't drain the starting battery, but was wondering on the chassis 12volt side whether it would drain the deep cycles. Like if I left the headlights on?

RE: 2003 National Tradewinds

It certainly sounds like a steering box issue. You had it replaced it should have fixed the issue. So don't worry.

Some of the motorhome tires are not made all year. Had the same issue with 235 80r 22.5 Michelins. Went with a different size that was built by other manufactures.
