RE: where to stop for the night

We covered part of the route this summer on our Ferry trip to Alaska, then through Canada. One of our favorite nights in our truck camper is the Beaver River Recreation Site. It is about 4 hours east on Kamloops on the way to Mount Robson Provincial Park and Jasper. It is near the town of McBride. Room for about five campers on a nice river. Check out this spot on free We also stayed at the Lake Louise overflow parking lot, about four or five miles south of Lake Louise on the road to Banff. Free overnight parking where the shuttles take tourists to Lake Louise. Enjoy your trip

RE: No shore power. 33c Sunova

RV is 50 amp. House receptacle is 30 amp. Will keep batteries charged with portable devices. Made an appointment with shop, but busy till early October. Thanks for all advice. Felt reassured when generator gave power to all outlets.

RE: Crossing the border a number of Different days --ArriveCAN

We just got home from our two month trip to Alaska. We took the ferry up to Haines and crossed into Canada on the 15th. We had to get a negative covid test in Haines and completely fill out the ArriveCan app. You know when you are done when it gets you a confirmation number. After crossing you will have to complete another virtual covid test in Canada on day one. We planned on stopping in both Skagway and Hyder to see the bears on our way home. I contacted Canada border crossing and found out we had to have a negative covid test within 72 hours of each border crossing plus the virtual test one in Canada. Too much tests for us so drove straight home to Montana. Catching the Jasper and Banff national parks

RE: No shore power. 33c Sunova

Thanks for all advice. I did check my wall outlet and it does have full power. I used my battery charger and was able overnight to bring the chasis battery to full power and start the Sunova This gave a charge to the coach batteries. Used your advice and started generator. It made that clicking sound and the microwave came on so I now have electrical power. So is the transfer box the problem as to why I don't have shore power. I'll run the generator for a while to get all the batteries back to full charge. What do I check next. Thanks

No shore power. 33c Sunova

We just got home from a great 2 month vacation. We took our pickup camper on the Alaska ferry to five ports. Great trip. The problem is, when I got home our 2016 33c Sunova is dead. It was plugged in all the time, but both coach batteries and engine batteries are dead and we have no shore power. Usually when I plug the rv in and turn on the breaker, I hear a clicking noise signaling that I have shore power. Today no click and no shore power. I have checked all breakers I can think of in the coach, but no power. I flipped all the breakers by the door, switched the inverter off and on. Checked the gfi outlets, but no power. Is there any master switch that could of been flipped while it was plugged in all summer. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks

RE: DIRECTV Real or Not

I also got this same email giving us a free year of NFL Sunday ticket. It says it's a reward for being loyal fans. Received the same email last year and we enjoyed the NFL Sunday ticket all season at no charge. Enjoy the upcoming season.

Camping at Petersburg, Alaska

We will arrive at Petersburg, Alaska on the next Ferry. Have any of you camped on this island. We are in a pickup camper and like forest service camping or dispersed camping or boondocking. Let me know of any experiences. thanks Any thoughts on the pay campgrounds
