RE: Suburban griddle

We use a 17" blackstone and clean up couldn't be easier. Cooks fast and large amounts at one time.

Generac recall

Generac just recalled thousands of generators.
They appear to be open frame type and large generating capability.

RE: What to do when warranty won’t help

Change refrigerator model that they are replacing even if you need to pay some amount of difference.
Forget legal threats if they have replaced it 4 times they can't do any more.

RE: Travel Trailer for Two

Max towing capacity of Colorado is 7700 pounds.
Airstream 23FB GVWR is 6000 pounds. Wet weight is 4800 pounds. Well within limits of TV.
We have owned 4 Airstreams through the years and have pulled them with diesel 3/4 tons, 1/2 ton Chevy Silverado, Toyota 4RUNNER, and Toyota tacoma.
My observations are based on experience not on what someone said or what probably would happen.

Airstream 25FB and 23FB
If price is a problem you may be able to find a lightly used unit.

RE: Are you supposed to tow 4 down with the steering unlocked

If you fail to unlock your steering you will soon need a new set of tires for your front wheels.
Otherwise on turns you will drag the tires side ways.
What about your need for braking in your list of things to do?

And be aware that it takes 2 changes of transynd before you can use the duty cycle of synthetic rather than generic transmission fluid.

RE: Survey: impact of weather and fires

Extreme temps have. With most days over 100 Fahrenheit and high humidity we just don't enjoy the great outdoors. We will wait until it cools down some. Until then the camper will remain parked.

RE: Predator gennys?

We have the Westinghouse igen2500 and it starts and runs our AC just fine. It gets good gas mileage and is quite. Got it on sale a couple of years ago for $399. Not heavy for this old man. Pulls double duty as hurricane power and camping buddy. Don't know how long it will last but so far so good.

I can't figure out how you're doing all that on 15 amps. That circuit is over loaded.

RE: kge kipor 3500 ti generator

Manual states in section 3-6 that it is above the fuel switch and in the gas tank. You have to drain all fuel to remove it.

What does the manual say? It may be in the gas tank.

Why did we the people just loan ford 9.2 billion dollars? I am sure they got a better interest rate than anyone else can get or a loan forgiveness guarantee. They will never sell enough of these to make a profit.

RE: When you accidently turn your Truck Camper Fridge off

Not in a truck camper but in one of the rigs we have owned.
My wife would regularly turn our fridge off by accident. The door had a very strong magnet and she would use her right hand to push while pulling with her left hand. It must have been a common problem for others as the manufacturer later installed a clear cover over the buttons.
Problem solved.
