RE: Help!!! Frame broke

By golly what a bummer. The frames in these things are engineered on the light side. Hitting a R R track or bumps hard or over tight load distribution settings can lead to disaster. Loaded to the max but not overloaded should not be a problem.

RE: This is why we can't have nice things.

And it has come time for all the idiots that need rescuing to pay for the cost of the rescue. The public should not be responsible for the bad decisions of others.

RE: This is why we can't have nice things.

Every person who uses public lands should be required to attend a class on the proper use of the land. And that is every person once per year. Motorized equipment should be restricted to approved trails. Failure to follow the rules should result in banishment for 3 years to life depending on the severity of the violation . No one has the right to destroy our land.

RE: Connecting to the internet

We have a Verizon hotspot on our phone plan. It shares data with our phones and only costs $10 per month. We could use one of our phones as a hotspot but chose this route.

RE: Towstar STR Tires?

After reading the reviews I would buy something better. The good reviews focus on price and service. Several negative comments concerning warranty.

RE: Power Co Tree Trimmers Let Wendy Loose

If your property is legally posted file charges and let it take its course. You may find they have legal right to cross your property. Filing charges and asking for monetary compensation for damages to turf etc will stop them in the future.

RE: Purchased TT (undisclosed salvage title came in the mail)

If the dealer told you that he bought it from a insurance company that means that the insurance company had "totaled" it. It became incumbent upon you to ask what caused it to be totaled. I would not fear as it is in better shape than had it not been totaled and therefore not repaired.

RE: Getting rid of campfire smoke odor

Just imagine what it's doing to people's lungs. Rent or employ a ozone generator.

RE: Fantastic fan issue

There is a plunger switch pointing up and is about the circumference of a pencil. A little WD oil and massage it. It is stuck closed even when the lid is open.

RE: Water not working at all through city, but it's on outside.

Sounds like you need to turn water valve to city inlet position. Well you better hire someone.

RE: Sway issues

Inflate tires to 5 psi less than max in the cool of morning before it is driven. Also add approx 150 to 200 lbs to tongue weight. Set trailer at level or slightly nose down. It may not be just one thing but in most cases the above will cure the problem. Last thing if above does not cure then change to a TV tire with stiffer walls.

The day Direct TV drops SD is the day I switch to Dish TV.

RE: Route from new Orleans to Beaumont tx

What day of the week and time will you be crossing? East to west is best direction. Neither direction is good 7-9 am and 3-7 pm. Backups can be expected any time Od day. You could get off on Airline hey when entering B R cross what we call the old bridge the get back on the interstate at hwy 415 which is just about 5 miles on the other side of the river. Personally I would go through BR all the way and take my chances.

RE: MH trip to Keys & New Orlean lessons

None of the Cities in the U S are like they once were. No excuses but N O suffered a double blow from Katrina. Those who could afford to moved across the lake and commute in to work. Many companies left town and have no plans to return. All of this had a big impact on taxes to run the city. Those who stayed tend to be poor, less educated, and marginally employed if at all. Unfortunately the prognosis for the city is not good. It really was a lovely city with a interesting history. The food is still outstanding. Recent removal of statues have left intersections with no interest other than people hanging out. For the life of me I can't understand why a statue of Andrew Jackson must be banned when we have schools streets and other things named Malcolm X all over the U S. and nobody sees a problem with that.
