RE: Latest Dish News Blackout ???

Both directtv and dish have periods where channels are not available. Both also permanently loose channels. Local channels are a racket for both parties.

RE: Blackstone 22" griddle for $99 at Walmart!!

A cover and a wind block riveted to a 17 inch Blackstone solves all of the one burner concerns. Much lighter, smaller, and less expensive . Go to HD or Lowes and get a flat aluminum bar rivet it to sides of burner housing issues solved.

RE: Blackstone 22" griddle for $99 at Walmart!!

Apples and oranges. Each has its use. We have both a small charcoal pit and a Blackstone. We cook different foods on each. We like both. Can't beat the Blackstone for speed.

RE: Dehumidifier overkill?

The unit you bought is not designed to dehumidify a trailer in use. It will do fine in a stored trailer up to 20 feet. 2 or more are necessary for larger trailers. You need the 30 pint model and let it run.

RE: Reliable Walkie Talkie?

RE: I Hope This Doesn't Get Taken Down Right Away

Sitting in my dorm room at LSU waiting on brother to get out of class so we could go to lunch. He passed through lobby on way to room and saw it on TV.

RE: Reliable Walkie Talkie?

The problem is a GMRS license costs $70 AND YOU WANT A BLISTER PACK RADIO TO TALK 5 OR MORE MILES (excuse caps). Get yourself a license and a good Midland handheld. Batteries don't last long due to size.

RE: Solar Tax Credit

Sure way to trigger an audit but may be entirely appropriate. Consult a tax professional not Good Sam membership.

RE: Are there any threads here that........

Definitely different. Saw one topic last week where poster called OP ignorant and when OP fired back the OP had his reply deleted. My moderator book states that the offending post should have been deleted as well as the reply from the OP. Some of the problems in some of the forums stem from the clear biases of the moderators of that particular forum.

RE: Louisiana State Parks

I couldn't find anything either. Try giving them a call. Anyone at the park would be happy to give you information on the park and community. I think they had some tidal flooding but nothing serious.

RE: Propane tank locks for my TT

Motorhomes have tanks that are not removable.

RE: Propane tank locks for my TT

They are being stolen to make a batch of drugs. Once used for that purpose they are nolonger useful for their original purpose. Often methamphetamine cooks use propane, and sometimes oxygen, tanks to steal and store anhydrous ammonia, a hazardous substance commonly used for meth production. When those tanks are taken from crime scenes, authorities aren't always certain as to what the tanks contains.Nov 12, 2011

RE: Generator Timer Click, click how to change

It is my understanding that the timer runs by wrapping a single wire around your spark plug wire. That should give you a good idea of the voltage. Check YouTube for how it works.

RE: US 312 in Tn

We didn't like the part coming out of Townsend. Don't get a wheel off or you will be sorry.

RE: Generator for full time use in destination trailer.

If you must run a generator look into a military surplus generator skid mounted or trailer mounted. It will be diesel powered. Fuel will be expensive.

RE: I Am severely dissapointed.

Mold and mildew is an issue. If it was on the lot then this wasn't the first time it leaked. Cover it with a tarp. Try to get the dealer to exchange units if they refuse try to be it in for repair earlier.

The longer the rig the more times it's an issue.

RE: Keeping pets safe in travel trailer while “home alone”

Pets are part of your family. Keep them safe. Shop for some type of monitor.
