RE: Dehumidifier?

Nothing beats a compressor dehumidifier. Having said that we run a small dehumidifier like the one you linked to. We use it in our 16 foot when stored. In this high temperature and humidity area it will fill in about 4 days. It is better than nothing and we have never been bothered by mold or mildew. With your load you will need a larger compressor style.

Regular coax will do if your signal is ok.

RE: Our first 8000 miles with a Garmin RV890

Good review. Should be helpful for someone considering a purchase.

RE: Idaho raising rates at selected state parks

What I don't get is everyone is suppose to be unemployed In my state, unemployment pays about $54,000 a year. That's more than a lot of full time jobs in the rural areas, more than a lot of retirees make too. Besides the fact that there is very little incentive to actually go find work, it provides plenty of money to go camping. What state is that? That is over $1000 per week. Or does that include the$300 per week the fed is paying?

RE: Idaho raising rates at selected state parks

Makes it hard to find a good spot but isn't it great. These people are getting the things that we all RV/camp for. Making memories and bonding as families. Sure covid may be the reason why but the result is the same. Teach them as some of them are the future of RVing.

RE: Lost my TV antenna

About 2 to 3 years ago on our way home from Tennessee a big motorhome passed us with a satellite dome flailing in the wind I’m sure at some point it came completely off of the motorhome I tried to catch up and warn driver but he was just driving too fast

RE: I-95 rest area parking for RV

When someone thinks that rest stops are just for one segment of travelers there is a problem. The signs i see say cars here and trucks/trailers there. Everyone needs to rest and yes trucks have options as well.

RE: Getting started with sway control

We have towed for years with out WD. Mostly 5000 lbs or less. In fact gave away a Hensley. To hard to hook up and maintain. We never tow with out sway control friction bar. We hold our speed down to 60mph. Of course the Airstream shape totally eliminates push pull from trucks. Get the TV and the TT then you can figure out what you need in way of hitch and sway control.

RE: Travel Trailer Brake Problem

Sounds like a short. It may well be right at the magnet area caused by the loose brake plate.

RE: Patch small hole in aluminum siding

Bondo aluminum and it can be sanded and painted. Are you sure that the hole is not due to electrolysis?

RE: RV Back Up Cameras

Had one for the MH and it was great. Don't recall the name. Have a Voyager for the Airstream. The camera is full of water and is supposed to be waterproof. The camera is rather expensive to only last 3 years.

RE: 1 month old TT totaled?

Rough start but when towing slow down some and never ever do anything that is not thought out in advance. We have all had these moments some worse than others. Take insurance payout and buy a new trailer. It will salvage this season. Good luck.

Had a MH once that would nearly empty the fresh water tank on its own.

RE: Gain setting

Good to have an empty parking lot where you can get up to 20mph with gain set at six. Jam on the brakes if they lockup nock it down a number amd try it again. If they didn't lockup take it up a number. Whay you want is maximun braking without lockup This is correct.
