RE: RAM spare tire tool
Oiling the cable does nothing. The cable pulley is sandwiched between 2 steel plates. The shaft sticks in the plates. This is where you need lube.
Post that again when you see one looking like it's been in Salt Lake for 2 years. But your additional thought is a good one.
Nice how you assumed I had no idea what rust is. You must be a joy to work with.

RE: Tires? Balance or Alignment
Loose wheel/s. Alloys need to be re torqued, sometimes more than once. Could have lost a weight. Some balance machines are better than others.
RE: Nascar Follies
My take was that aluminum from the center hole in the rim got into the threads on the hub, causing the nut to bind up. I can't see that one lug nut being aluminum.
RE: Nascar Follies
I see a bad harbinger of things to come in terms of racing quality. NASCAR is pandering to the bang bang racing product and this car looks to play right into their scheme. Prepare to witness never ending races with restart after restart since contact with the wall and other cars doesn't put a car out of the race. Even the commentators during the second LCQ were like when will this end. Martinsville is gonna be a poor show.
RE: Scan tool for Ram CTD
Get one that reads ABS and SRS as well.
It looks like you can get one for about $100, anything much less I didn't see those two features .
100 bucks well spent. BTW they go on sale around here for like 129-149 CND before tax (15%)
RE: Nascar Follies
Why do the headlines not say simply Bubba Wallace wins rain shortened Talladega?
Why in the headline and not in the article do they have to bring up colour?
Don't get me wrong I just thought we were moving forward.
