RE: 5th wheel hitches

For a 12,000 pounds, I would recommend already using gooseneck. Using on my super duty. I feel like this sways less compared to the regular hitch at the back.

RE: Prescriptions while on the road?

I went to a local doctor just for a prescription and went to Walmart just to find out they accept my old prescription.

RE: hipcamp

First time hearing this. So it's like airbnb for rv? this would be a good income for those members who now retired of rv-ing.

RE: Waze App

I also use waze, own a samsung though but this doesn't happen to me. The only setting you can set in the app itself is turning on/off the updates so the problem here is your phone. Go to settings of your phone and maybe it is on the updates section or sound. Choose receive updates.

RE: Do you tow a Jeep behind your 5th wheel?

Fan of trucks and either I use my Ram or Jeep when towing my rv. If you are planning to that you might want to use a hitch. recommending this hitch What model of Jeep do you own as each model can only tow a specific weight at the back?

RE: Camping fails

This is not really that funny compared to the photos but one time I forgot to add some water in our tank and imagine how I refilled it

RE: Dog Chwing resistant entry mat

Please don't use garlic. My pug also chews everything when he was still a pup what I use before is I add some lemon or if you have some budget you can get a training spray - the stop chewing one.

RE: Keeping part of the wet bath DRY when using the shower.

Also use microfiber chamois to wipe everything after a bath but I do hate it when the bowl is wet and need to wipe it. I feel like it is so dirty even though there are no stains so I would love to find a cover for that.

RE: Towing with a 3500 Van

Ram owner here. Towing my Rv with ram 3500 (2017) is easier in my opinion compared to my Jeep. You need to install an additional part which is This could tow at least 20000lb which can tow pretty much any rv. As of the moment, no serious problem towing it. I guess it really all boils down to the power of a truck.

RE: RV'ing 100 Years Ago

Saw the photos in another forum also and RV lifestyle is much more comfortable now. I fell like kids back then who goes to trip with their rv had more fun compared to kids I see when we are parked. Kids are always on the screen. I think that should when in an rv with your kids your rule should be no phones! we should enjoy each other's company and dance.

RE: Outdoor wireless speakers?

Been using a jbl wireless speaker for 2 years now. It's a little bit expensive in my opinion but it lasts me 10 hrs of playing music but I only use that when we are parked. Been downloading music from spotify (they have everything there).

RE: led vanity lights

What I have in my rv is a right light. It's led and you can adjust the lightness.

RE: ?? Mail on the road ??

Did not know about mail forwarding but maybe that would help. If the problem is your mails being wet I guess just change your mailbox. Maybe add a little roof on that and make a sign for the mailman to really insert the envelope inside. That's what I do :)

RE: Looking for dog breed the travels well while Rving

What I have is a toy poodle. Good thing with them is they don't shed so you won't worry cleaning your RV all the time. They are also so sweet during long travel but is scared being alone which would not happen unless you leave them inside the RV
