RE: LP Detector 12v vs 120v Price ?

Unfortunately it's like anything else for an RV or boat....twice the price. I guess they know they've got us and can charge a higher price. This is basically what my TT has and I will be using to replace. Comes in black or white. Scroll down for black. just copy and paste model number for CA Amazon. Co detector

RE: Thoughts on the 'need' factor of a main line surge protector

Just for clarity...If you do decide to purchase one, for better protection, you DON'T want a "Surge Protector"...You DO want an "EMS".

RE: Upgrading head and bars only on EQ hitch?

Glad to see they have changed their ways since I traded up to my current trailer. I had to purchase an entire new hitch. They retain their value pretty well so it wasn't a total loss.

RE: Water Heater Relief Device

Lynnmor is correct about air pocket. Atwood seem to have this problem more than Suburban. No need to drain entire tank. try this: 1. Turn off the water heater. 2. Turn off the cold water supply line. 3. Open a faucet in the RV. 4. Pull out the handle of the pressure relief (P&T) valve and allow water to flow from the valve until it stops. 5. Release the handle on the P&T valve - it should snap closed. 6. Close the faucet and turn on the cold water supply. As the tank fills, the air pocket will develop. Repeat this procedure as often as needed to reduce the frequency of the weeping P&T valve.

RE: Upgrading head and bars only on EQ hitch?

Last time I checked they did not sell individual parts. (Bars and head) It was all or nothing. They talked about integrity and liability of a pieced together unit. Won't hurt to call and ask.

RE: Anti siphon valve for black tank flush

Thanks everyone. I'll follow line and keep looking. If it is in the wall I'll just quit using it and go back to pooh wand.

Specs say it is prewired for sat. Maybe the coax you are looking at is for an outside tv. specs

Anti siphon valve for black tank flush

2012 FR Surveyor SV264RK. Can't seem to locate anti-siphon valve for black tank flush. I know what it looks like but it is not under sink in bathroom. When I use BT Flush I get water running from bottom of trailer. Guessing it comes from valve but since chlorplast(?) is in place I can't see anything from bottom. Any ideas where it could be located? No evidence of leakage inside trailer.

RE: Direct TV black and white only

You might try unhooking the HDMI cable and turn the tv on and go to setup. If it displays in color it's not the tv.

RE: Propane grill and Blackstone griddle with one 20# tank

I run a coleman stove and my blackstone off one tank. I use the regulators that the stove and blackstone came with. Here is a tee adapter and the hose I use to connect to the oem regulator. You will need two hoses. I don't know what kind of grill you have so you may have to adapt it to a regulated hose. You don't want two regulators on a single appliance. tee hose This works for the 17" and 22" Blackstone that uses 1lb bottles. I don't know what kind of regulators the larger Blackstones have.

RE: Is A New 2018 Still New?

It's new until you drive it off the lot. Then it's 3 years old. Negotiate as if it were a used 2018.

RE: Surge Protector

I chose an autoformer instead of a surge device, so that voltage may be corrected. Why? Because the main cause of damage is low voltage, and the current popular surge devices disconnect at a voltage that may cause damage. I use both. pedestal/autoformer/PI EMS/trailer

RE: RV Parks in the Pismo Beach area on the central coast

Pismo Coast is great but sometimes tight spots. They put their owner(members) at top of list. Can be difficult to get in during summer months or any time school is out. Call back weekly for cancellations. Look at Grover Beach as well.
