Slide topper tension adjustment

I have a Dometic slide topper. I did not get any info with it when purchased. There seems to be so much tension on it that it makes the top of the slide out hard to move. The slide struggles until I help it at the top to get the topper awning to start unrolling. Can anyone tell me how to adjust the tension on the topper. Thanks for any help.

RE: Personal property ins.

Buy a rider policy or umbrella policy to cover your musical equipment. Check other insurance companies that aren't so progressive...

RE: Charger converter??

Randy at Best Converter is a good choice. He may not be the cheapest price you will find but he is an authorized dealer for what he sells and his merchandise is "genuine" not some knock off. Plus he's full of information if you have questions or need help.

RE: Decals cracking

A little late once they are cracked but 303 Aerospace Protectant may slow them from getting worse.

RE: Hughes autoformers

I use both an autoformer followed by an EMS. With more and more larger units(two or three ac units) in campgrounds, voltage goes low a lot more often than people realize. I feel like I'm protected from both low and high voltage. I couldn't make a choice of one or the other.

RE: AC toast?

Before you write off the ac at least check the run capacitor. Here's how... test capacitor If you go to replace it make sure you discharge it before you handle it. I use a resistor but you can find instructions on you tube

RE: Major disaster in Cali

We just came home from Millerton SRA. Auberry (18 miles away from Millerton) just received mandatory evacuation notice. Shaver Lake is about 17 miles up the road from Auberry. At the lake the smoke was so thick you could barely see the lake past the portable dock on the last launch ramp. So hard to breathe we had to leave.

RE: Major disaster in Cali

We are 35 miles from Shaver Lake. Sky looks like "nuclear winter". Ash falling like snow at times. Record heat expected today...108. Praying for all those involved.

RE: Did I ruin my water heater, please help!

I only heat water when I need it. Turn off the switch to the water heater when done with it. Plug your trailer back in to your house and let the converter charge the battery and I think you will be fine.

RE: TST 507 cap o rings

Yes... #30 O-Ring They are 7/8"OD x 3/4"ID x 1/16" Cheap at Lowes or Home Depot for a box of 8 or 10..... Those seem to be about the size of ones I used when I had flo thru. The regular caps I have now are less than 1/2 inch od. Thank you anyways. I think I will try the 11mmx1mm.

TST 507 cap o rings

I thought I had more o rings when I replaced my batteries but I don't. Does anyone know the size I need to replace them. Hard to spend $16.50 with shipping just to get the o rings. I thought I had at least one so I could take it to the hardware store to match up. Any help would be appreciated. Someone told me 11mmx1mm. Can anyone verify that?

RE: 12 volt Refrigerators

I haven't read a single positive review for the Furrion. Positive reviews may be out there but I haven't seen them. Seems like more people like the Dometic. I really don't know and am like others, waiting to get a good sampling of reviews.

RE: Help finding LP quick connect pigtail

I'm sorry but I did not realize your pigtail was regulated. You can't have two regulators and get enough gas flow. (RV quick connect is already regulated). The connections I suggested will not work for you. Is "Nice" a brand name? www.torjik.com may have what you need to replace your BBQ regulator.

RE: TPMS Settings

I believe TST manual says default temp should be fine and pressure should be 10% below and 20% above your cold tire pressure.

RE: Members who have had by-pass surgery.

It's really going to depend on your age and your current physical condition and your willingness to do any rehab. I was 26 years old when I had mine, was in decent shape, but things were not as good in 1980. It was a good 8 weeks for me. Drugs and procedures have come a long way and my neighbor was walking the next day(I was in ICU for 3 days) and he was back to almost normal in 4-5 weeks. Good luck. Please keep us posted on your recovery. I just had a knee replacement and I was NOT ready to run a snowblower at 4 weeks;)

RE: Recommendations on portable flat-top griddle

That’s what I was saying I have the 17” for my RV and will pick up a 22” for the house If you have the room consider the 28" model. Can't beat the price and gives you more room. 28" at walmart I have the 17" for camping and the 22" at home. Wish I would have gone bigger for home.

RE: Recommendations on portable flat-top griddle

Out of stock online at Walmart but the 22 inch kit may be available in store. If not Amazon has it for $205.57 Scroll down on link to find similar items and it is listed there at a cheaper price than link. BS 22" Use this link to search Walmart inventory near you. inventory checker Put in your zip code and use SKU# 179647360
