RE: Why Diesel Engines Lose Power & Efficiency Over Time

Sounds like a takeoff on "Chevron with Techron".

RE: Long Term RV Repairs

We are in our 16th year of fulltiming. Never had any issues. As Chris Bryant said, crash damage would be the problem Then a trade or sell. As far as other repairs, trucks, motorhome chassis problems aren't bad. But i'm going to tell you, hopefully you can do some work yourself or "Katie, bar the doors". Before going to a stealership, find a good mobile repair person.

RE: They Better Not Screw Us Up

I just hope if you get to Rachel, you aren't disappointed. What I mean by that is other than the government stuff which you aren't going to see anyway, it is along the lines of South of the Border, Wall Drug and a whole bunch of other tourist junk scattered across the US.

RE: Mud Flaps

No matter what you go with, make sure to check clearance of bottom edge of flap to road surface when completely loaded. If in certain situations they have a tendency to drag, that will throw gravel up against the front panel. Best thing I've seen is have the front panel sprayed with Rhino or Linex.

RE: Does anyone have suggestions for Omaha, NE RV parks?

We use Haworth in Bellevue when we are in Omaha.

RE: Nascar Follies

Yep, what a finish. But it was brought on by a caution, forcing OT. But the finish was great brought on by two racers, notice I didn't say drivers. There is huge difference. As manipulative as FRANCECAR is, maybe they should pull some of their infamous manipulative practices to get the "Sin City" brothers up front. Ask no quarter, give no quarter.

RE: Generator Obsrevations.

I know one thing, if Honda or Yamahuzie came out with a replacement for our onboard Onan Marquis Gold 7000, this Onan would have the fluids drained out of it and become a boat anchor. Onans are like old women, need so much TLC.

RE: River Walk cg in Coeur d'Alene

If you are an Elks Lodge member, the CDA lodge has a nice RV park.

RE: Opinion on Resort Fees ?

Remember "RV Resort" is the most verbally abused word in the RV park industry. What does it include and does everything work???????

RE: Fulltiming across the USA.............on your own land?

Yuma, AZ. RV lots in the Foothills. We own one and of course spend the winter sitting there and since we are fulltimers, move north and shut down the lot for the summer. Most of the lots have 2-50 amp FHU's, one hookup on each side.

Cloud, that track that your friend is opening looks really, really nice. Also a great website and a good kickoff to 2020. http://vadospeedwaypark.com/

RE: Texas?!? I'm shocked.

I would suggest you try Pennsylvania State Vehicle Inspection on for size.

RE: Paying for public campgrounds

We use checks. Never any problem except one time my wife forgot to sign it. A couple of days afterward, the Bureau of Reclamation contacted us and we sent another check and there was no problem. Several years ago when we were in Alaska, there were several city parks we were in and they had "Wi_Fi" controlled iron rangers. Slip in a credit card and it spit out your receipt to tape on your windshield. Really neat.

RE: Flying J Dedicated RV Lanes

Just don't think all FJ RV lanes are created equal. Quite a few feed directly towards the c-store, then a fight with idiots getting lotto tickets, five hot dogs five different ways, etc. Haven't fueled at FJ for a number of years.

RE: 2020 Chevy Duramax 3.0 Diesel

I sure hope they went back to Isuzu for help in designing this piece like they did for the development of the original Duramax. If they didn't they will PO light truck diesel owners off again.

RE: RV-Dump parking sloping the wrong way

RVing since 1975. Believe me, there is no shortage of "Polish Sewer" hookups across the US and Canada. Been there, done that scenario! It is the same old story, somebody building something that is totally clueless.

RE: Vegas food

Texas Shadow, Railroad Pass Casino area has been completely redone for the construction of I-11. Casino is the same but everything around it has been completely changed. Right now there buffet is $5.50 for both lunch and dinner. Needless to say we participated!
