RE: Fresh water drain

bobbyg123, that white drain pipe I referred to was above the tandem axles and like you said was not marked. Had to reach up over either axle to get to it.

RE: Fresh water drain

bobbyg123, many new RVs have a white drain valve for the fresh water tank. It is 1" or 1 1/4" with a pull rod just like the gray and black tanks. I found this situation on a new Artic Fox a friend had purchased. Looked everywhere underneath for the "old style" drain, saw this deal, pulled it, and I immediately had a bath! Didn't take long to drain.

RE: I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

And Scott Frost drops another game at the buzzer, and Chipster Kelley having problems at UCLA. He just can't seem get anything going since blowing out of Eugene. And there were a bunch of exciting games.

RE: Anti-seize on brake caliper bracket?

You shouldn't have a problem with anti-sneeze. If your worried about them backing out, drill a hole in bolt head and put a piece of safety wire thru the head and tie it to something close.

RE: Generator Problem

Bionic, the first thing I would do is check with a volt meter to see if you have voltage leaving the breakers. If so, and you have an ATS take reading there for starters.

RE: 50 Amp Surge Guard Issue?

Never had that happen with our 50 amp Surge Guard. Did you read the 50 amp receptacle for voltage, grounds/neutral?

RE: I'm In College Football Haven Over Here!

Yes Bagman, that bunch east of you in State College, PA. probably have that outfit going to the championship game after killing the Idaho Vandals. 79-7, just pitiful. Pay Idaho 1.5 million to come in for a win and them send them back to Moscow, ID. Joe Pa's shadow is still visible in State College as he was a master at those shenanigans.

RE: Let's talk generators - again.

If you go gasoline check West Marine for gas tanks. They have both steel and plastic tanks in different configurations and gallonage. They also have the fills and vents for them. They also carry a gas gauge that connects to the fuel tank and operates off 12 vdc. Another thing to keep in mind about the Neanderthal Onans, yes I have one, they have no 12vdc built in charge system. Don't ask how I found out. Instead of using house batteries to start the Onan, I installed a separate start battery. Another thing, Onan is light years behind the up to date stuff. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to have dual fuel like so many other brands on the market today?

RE: Pull Thru site in Yuma

You can try Fortuna Del Oro or Shangri-La. I'll try to think of a couple more.

RE: What;s Wrong With My RAM Truck????

On my 2003 Ram the evaporator freezes over the air won't pass. High humidity triggers it quickly. If I park the truck for 15 minutes or so with the ac off water gushes out the drain onto the asphalt.

RE: Suggestions for closing slide out that's been open 5+ years

larry2c, you are correct. They are a very simple electric motor driven, no hydraulics involved. They aren't sequential or anything like that. One button at a time brings in each individual slide. I've fulltimed in an Alfa for 16 years. I'd get a can of Protect All slide-out dry lube. Stinks for a couple of minutes. Spray everything you can see that moves on the slide gearing. Make sure that the converter is operating and the battery is very good. If it still has the old white slide seal that should offer no resistance when bringing them in. If the white has been replaced with black, you might want to spray it with slide seal lubricant. If I can be of more help, just PM me.

RE: Pennsylvania Turnpike

As a former 50 year plus resident of the Keystone, depending how far you are traveling the Pike, get your big checkbook out. Most of us always said "the Turnpike Commission should pay you" to drive this mostly outdated road.
