RE: Leveling jacks alarm

I had the same problem on a previous moho and simply removed the buzzer. I used a clothespin on the shift nob to remind me of Jacks down.

RE: Mountain Driving

As a flatlander (Nebraska) my whole life I too worried about mountain driving. Just follow the advice on this thread and you'll be fine. Up is easy just keep it slow and let the tranny find the gear. going down keep it slow and use lower gear, in most cased just turning off the overdrive will do it. set a speed you don't want to exceed, in my case it was 40 - 45. then when you get to that speed brake hard to about 25 - 30 and repeat. I have now driven I80 and I70 both directions at least 4 times from Omaha to west coast in a gasser and enjoy doing it.

when to use "econo mode" on Allison 5 speed tranny?

Is it for city or country driving? nothing listed in the manual.

RE: atwood water heater not working on electric

Thank you everyone. I have 11.3V at the yellow and 13V at the white. It appears to be working now. I tightened all connections. Must have been a loose one somewhere. the light in the switch is still not working but I can live with that.

thanks, I will try some of the suggestions but it may take some time as I have to put element back in and refill the tank.

RE: mystery plug in Damon Astoria.

Here is the Manual with wiring diagrams. Doug 1. Passenger side. WHERE? Front or rear wheel well? VERY rare to have a Cable INPUT on Passenger side. Usually the passenger side has a Antenna/Cable OUTPUT for connecting a TV to watch under the awning. Especially on your year model. 2. IF the Cable plug is just a coax threaded AND NO PHONE PLUG IN, then that coax is an output. the Cable/Phone input is on the same plate. Usually either the Shore cord comp or the Water utility compartment. Doug sorry doug, I miss spoke that is the cable outlet plug in that same bin. but it's the 6 prong plug that I can't find an answer to. does not list it anywhere in the manual.

RE: mystery plug in Damon Astoria.

I can't find the other end of it. Damon was bought by Thor. I can't find anything on the Thor website. Hoping to find a Damon Astoria group.

mystery plug in Damon Astoria.

Can anyone tell me what this is for? It's in the storage bin directly behind the passenger side wheel well. the bin also contains the cable input jack.

RE: Platinum plan

Had a fuel leak 60 mi west of denver. Good Sam sent a mobile tech to diagnose the problem then tried to find a shop for repair. None of the shops could get it done in our time frame so a relative in a small town south of Denver told me their mechanic would do it, Good Sam had it towed to his shop, even though it was farther than the closest available place. No cost for the tow which would have been close to $2,000. I was very happy with the service.
