RE: RAM spare tire tool

When you get the rod use it to make sure the hoist isn't bad. Lower it, oil the cable, and raise it back up to make sure that it works.
A lot of them have failed, we replaced them frequently as our shop was near the beach and they rusted sometimes solid.
You also need to inspect the tire for size and age, who knows what is under there. The tire valve should be pointed down so it's pressure can be checked occasionally. You don't need more than one flat at a time.

RE: Nascar Follies

Because NASCAR will never admit that they blew it. My question is how did this not come up in testing?
Nascar has never liked Kes because he calls them on the BS.

RE: 8.00 x 16.5 to 16 tire help

How about you quit collecting email addresses to sell. You could sell extended warranties instead.

RE: Extending Camper Tounge?

Ladder rack for the boat, no other modifications needed. We put a Pelican on the rack of a Suburban for years. 3 hp outboard inside.

RE: Data plate

If it's an exterior sticky it's likely faded away by now. If it was typed rather than inked you may be able to make it out even after all these years. Check the entry door frame with the door open, I've seen some there.

RE: Can 19 Silverado 1500 pull 23rslw jayco with just a ball

I'm not seeing a trailer hitch mentioned but if there is one I would certainly tow that trailer home without WDH. Getting it on that 2 5/6 ball mentioned by the OP will be a problem. ;)

The brass nut is certainly worth a try. What they have isn't working very well.

RE: Nascar Follies

We're pretty far into the season. Goodyear needs to get it's act together for that left rear. Then there is THE lug nut thing. When that big ole boy couldn't get it off there is a serious problem. They were using jaws of life tools and it was just laughing at them.

RE: Brooklyn Queens Expressway

With a RV you've never actually measured while hooked to your truck I wouldn't take any chances. If you do make sure your insurance is already in place before you hook up.

RE: Replacement City Water Inlet recommendation

The city water connection on both of the Valterra units I mentioned is brass. Only the fresh and it's sister overflow connections are plastic.
I had to pull the sofa away from the back wall and take apart one of the armrests for access.

RE: Nascar Follies

The all star race has become the lottery of NASCAR. It's just dumb luck as to who wins with all the gimmickries they have built in. Basically it's bumper cars like at the beach pavilion.

RE: Replacement City Water Inlet recommendation

I had the same issue. I bought and installed a
Valterra A01-2000VP Gravity/City Water Inlet Hatch. It seemed to be the same price everywhere online, $52. This is the model with the door, the model without the door is a different size and doesn't interchange.
Hopefully the back of yours is as easy to get to as ours was.

It's 75 degrees in Vegas right now at 2 AM your time and will be in the 90s later today. When the water is hot enough it shuts off. They are not designed to run continually.
