RE: Hello

So much for tow vehicles. Please rename as Fishing Tales.

RE: Need some help

Is the slide floor compromised? A couple of2x4s at the right length would be a stop gap for now until you find the issue. That could turn into a very bad trip gone unsolved. Travel with propane off at least if the oven or the frig is in that slide.

RE: Medicare

I guess the car shortage has ruined the extended warranty con. For now.

RE: Nascar Follies

That's what I said earlier. You STRIVE to be the best, it's not guaranteed.

RE: My wife is gonna kill me, please help

She already knows what you're up to. She's just setting the trap tighter as you go. Have fun. I told you that she was on to you. Heck, she turned you on to this forum in the first place. Good luck with it all, sometimes not speaking is a blessing.

RE: Replacing New Trailer King RST+ : Only Option Is Carlisle??

It's possible that the F rated tires are all that were available at the time of the build due to the shortage of everything now.. Cummin12V98 is right, what does it weigh and what does the label say on the coach about weights and tire usage. I've run Carlisle HDs on several RVs without a single issue. I've used Firestone Transforce as well without incident.

RE: Nascar Follies

My personal opinion is that winning really is everything to strive for. It's cheating that has ruined society etc.

RE: This WRONG on so many levels...!

Doesn't the candy corn melt when you cook the brat? Sounds like a filling removal tool to me.

RE: 2 cycle oil Dodge 5.9 diesel

Yes I do. When tank is low I pour a qt in at the station before fueling. The injectors are still hanging in at 200K plus. This is my third high mileage Cummins with no injector problems. One was ~350K when I sold it.

RE: Time to move on

This forum is dying for multiple reasons but I'll stay as the number of good helpful people far outnumber the jerks. I just skip over their rants, but it's the same 15 or so every time.

RE: Question about freshwater tank use

It only took once for us to put at least some water in the tank. State park water system ruptured and had to shut down for most of a day. We always carry drinking water in jugs but need tank or city water for showering, bathroom, etc.

RE: Nascar Follies

Kevin, next time don't be watching the mirror so much. Was Chase going to dump him? We'll never know.

RE: At least I was honest

One needs to look no further than where these trailers are made....Indiana...the home of the $7.25 minimum wage. There was no need to inject politics into this discussion. Poor quality is endemic to the RV industry, everywhere. I see no politics in this post. The mods must not either or it would be gone.

RE: Rational Thinking

We might just all be an ant farm. Who knows? I'm enjoying it no matter what it is. A shame it has to end for all of us at random times. I like the members sig about setting the new record each day for most consecutive days alive.

RE: Nascar Follies

There were a lot of factors involved in calling the race but I was watching and it seemed to me that there was time to dry the track and finish the race. It was only 3 PM and after the 2 hour track drying that left 90 minutes until sundown. I don't have the resources NASCAR does with radar tech but this is the championship round. They should have done every thing they could to finish and not taken the road they did for the publicity.

RE: Tampa RV Show

You should go, it's the real deal. It's at the Florida State Fairgrounds and huge. Hershey and Tampa always say that they are the largest but they are both right. My opinion tips to Tampa as they have much more inside space, both for units and products.

RE: High profile tires on off road packages on trailers. hmmm

Lifted trucks involve aftermarket suspension parts not up to OEM specs. Aftermarket wheels are also used frequently with offsets that stress wheel bearings, tie rods, etc. That little trailer mentioned won't know what size tires are involved. Or care. The SUV likely gets terrible MPG already anyway.

RE: simple laptop solution for RV travel

I use a HP Chrome Book tethered to Verizon. The only thing I wish it had is a lighted keyboard.
