RE: Lippert Slideout Gear Pack Wheels

I put a 2x2 about 2 feet long on top of a bottle jack and under the rack of the gearpack you are removing. It doesn't take much, just get the weight off the attaching bolts to pop it out, or in.

RE: Lippert Slideout Gear Pack Wheels

I replaced mine with steel rollers, they called the gear pack a heavy duty gear pack. I have a very large slide and my rubber wheels had collapsed.

RE: First tow with new 2019 Ram 3500 and ...disappointed.

Wait until you get it loaded and some weight on the pin. Then, go from there.

RE: ongoing generator issue

The 30amp breaker on the generator could be weak causing it to trip before the compressor winds up. Try the 2 1500w heaters as stated and turn them on simultaneously with a switch, like a good power strip. See if that breaker pops on the generator.

RE: ongoing generator issue

I have the same generator and it will run both of my ac's. In fact, I can run my 230v mig welder with it. I think your problem is ac related. How are you connected, and how are you running the rpms up manually?

RE: crimping battery lug

I have been building battery cables for decades using solder. You only need a handheld propane torch to accomplish the task. Auto parts stores even sell lugs that contain the solder or have a solder puck. Lots of videos on this.

RE: crimping battery lug

Take the lug off, clean it, and solder it back on using flux.

RE: Tucson to Show Low

Winding road with steep climbs but the scenery is beautiful. Your rig will handle it alright.

RE: Arizona RV licensing

When I bought mine I was upset. Has anyone ever paid MSRP for an RV?

RE: Lazy man wants inverter disconnect switch INSIDE trailer

I bought an inverter with a remote off switch. Only had to run a phone line in basement.
