RE: Receiver Hitch broken

Is this the hitch on the MH? What chassis is it on? Best guess the tow bar is not turning on corners. What tow bar? Draw-Tite 5350 Multi-Fit Motor Home Hitch

RE: Receiver Hitch broken

2004 motorhome towing a 2004 jeep liberty using a Blue OX tow bar. :( The Draw-Tite 5350 or Curt 13701 should fit your motorhome. Both are adjustable up to 51" and are rated for 5,000 lbs. Draw-Tite 5350 Curt 13701

Receiver Hitch broken

Have a Hidden Hitch Model # 64-6100 that cracked on the weld. I brought it to a seasoned welder and he rewilded it after about 600 miles it broke again. Was wondering why it says on the hitch not to weld? This is on a 2004 motorhome towing a 2004 jeep liberty. I know just replace it but not very easy to find a replacement. Thanks for any inf .... r0n.....

RE: Used Tow Bar Values

I'm sure there are lots of opinions on this, but for me, I wouldn't take the chance buying a used towbar. The manufacturer of mine recommends "service" every year or two if I remember correctly. If a new one cost $1k and a used one was $500, I personally couldn't justify saving $500 for something that has a lot riding behind it! For others, it's an acceptable risk. Don't get me wrong, I buy used stuff all the time, but in my mind, some used things just aren't worth the risk. Fire Extinguishers are another thing that comes to mind! I very rarely buy used equipment - but in an unusual move, bought a used tow bar. Horrible mistake. 5K miles later, it failed and is costing me a little over $3K to fix. https://i.imgur.com/PpZqNei.jpeg width=640 https://i.imgur.com/tzcz4JV.jpeg width=640 It left an impression from where the main pivot bolt hit the hood and grill. https://i.imgur.com/6oSIC9X.jpeg width=640 This happened at the very end of a 10hr travel day -- at least we were close to our destination. What did you do to bend the shafts both the same direction?

RE: RV Magazine

Don't like the look or feel of it is it just me or is it difficult to read the words closes to the binding? What was there 8 pages dedicated to cooking, if Ii want a cooking mag that is what I will order one. Lots of the subject material is very vague and simple. just my 2 cents...r0n..... :(
