RE: Bathroom access on the road

The slide is usually on the drivers side. Get out, survey and move the slide the foot you need and use the bathroom. Remember to put slide back in.

RE: Yummy!

A buddy of mine rented a trailer from a dealership and after setting up camp, I checked the tank lights and they were 3/4 full. Hook back up and go to dump station then setup again. When he returned it they gave him a hefty discount. He has since bought a trailer and we all harass him about hauling other people’s———— around.

RE: Loose Grab Handle

Doesn’t have to be metal. A piece of mahogany door skin would work or a piece of bass wood from a hobby store will be fine and you can get the width you need and stain to match.

RE: Loose Grab Handle

This may take some doing Drill all the way through to the inside Lay a metal plate on the inside and drill it as well Use not screws but BOLTS just long enough to go through the wall and a bit more Use "CAP" style nuts and flat washers on the bolts Seal the handle to the outside wall to prevent moisture entry This is the correct way! Super strong and never do it again.

RE: Still very tempting to buy my totaled TT back

OP: did you buy it back? There is probably a time frame to deal with the insurance and storage fees accumulating.

RE: Still very tempting to buy my totaled TT back

How did the tow truck right it? I see 1500-2000 awning, 150 tongue jack, 30 propane cover. Anyway to eye the frame front to back? We’re the load levelers connected at the time? Was the fridge running?

RE: half of my outlets not working

The test button will trip the GFI when breaker is on.

RE: half of my outlets not working

Trip the GFI then see if the breaker is still touchy. If so replace. If not replace GFI. Unplug everything in that circuit first.

What did Ford tell her and what trailer did she get?

RE: Dog fence when sitting outside camper with dog

15 foot leash connected to stabilizer jack but she just sits with us and doesn’t bark or bother anyone. She is a good camper!

RE: stay pluged in or not

Only plugged in when in use or to charge batteries once a month. I don’t trust the converter to not over charge and boil batteries dry.

RE: Still very tempting to buy my totaled TT back

So you get the trailer and 14.7k? You said something about frame damage, what is it? Edit: Bush’s rv in twin falls, Idaho has the 16bhs for 17,995. How far is that from you? It doesn’t appear to be the black label though.

RE: Tee Moulding

Normally, the silicone is only used at the ends and 90’s. Edit: OP, do you mean the moulding that goes from carpet to linoleum and slips in a track?

RE: Air Admittance Valve

Without glue, the abs coupler may still stink and it won’ t seat all the way. Femco fitting is the way to go.
