RE: Route suggestions please!

Thank you everyone!!! We will be leaving from Tennessee heading out west! The suggestions for Texas we will definitely do each. A few we hadn't heard of. Ok we had planned on staying at Organ Pipe NM but not sure now. What would make that any different as far as danger as the rest of the towns and attractions in south Texas a d New Mexico And Arizona. We have talked to people that tell us to stay away from places like Big Bend and places close to the border then we have heard it completely safe!! Thanks everyone good information!

Suggestions please!

We would love to boondock but we have a very hard time finding places that we feel secure at. We have solar and generator but want to try and find blm or forest land out west in texas new mexico arizona and california for winter time that have designated campsites. Last April we tried our 1st Blm location which was Craggy Wash just outside of Lake Havasu City and a very bad encounter with a very unkind man. The place was full of homeless people lurking at us like why are we here!! so we turned around and left and needless to say havent tried any others!! So suggestion on places that are not to isolated, that is not our cup of tea! Thanks Tara

Route suggestions please!

We will be leaving Dec. to travel out west to see sites in Southern Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and other states. We fulltime so we do not have a time schedule. Not sure what are the best routes to take to see interesting places along way. Any suggestions are very appreciated. Thank you Tara

RE: Fulltiming in a Class C

We wish we could go smaller! Sounds good but realistic I'm not sure! When we pass somthing unsuspected we would love to pull over but can't, not enough space. A lot of people tell us just camp somewhere near and go visit but alot of times nothing else around to see and no camping for an hour or so. We have only been fulltime traveling since Feb.2 2019 so still trying to figure everything out. And yes we have been married for 43 yrs and have camped our whole married life but trust me to those out there that think just because u have camped for years doesn't make u know all the ins and outside of fulltime. We love this lifestyle!!!! Thanks to everyone who has responded!??

RE: Glacier National Park

Our 5th wheel is 0nly 31ft So I wouldn't think we would have an issue. We dont need hookups we have solar panels on our roof and we also have a generator. Thanks Tara

RE: need new tires

We purchased Goodyear Endurance tires this year and are very pleased so far. They have a speed rating of S or 85mph. We don't go close to that speed. We drive between 60-64mph that's comfortable for us. Tara

RE: Grand Design purchase

We purchased our Grand Design Reflection from Bill Thomas Rv in Wentsville MO. We lived in SE Indiana at the time and they gave us the best deal. Better than any in Indiana that had the model we wanted. Nice sales people. Tara

Blue Ridge Parkway

We are now in Big South Fork National River Recreation Area near Oneida TN. We are wanting to do the Blue Ridge Parkway in areas up to the Skyline drive in Shenandoah National Park. What part of Parkway should we be concerned with pulling a 32ft. 5th wheel? Also which is best route for us to get to the entrance of Blue Ridge near Smokey Mountain National Park? Thank you! Tara

RE: Outer Banks National Park Service campgrounds

Yes Oregon inlet was our 1st choice. We are still going there we figured there will be somewhere to camp. Since we started fulltime in Feb this year we cannot believe how many campers there are everywhere! Wow how times have changed. Thanks everyone for info! Tara
