RE: Gen-Y 5th wheel goose neck pin box

Howdy! When I purchased my new truck I decided to not go back the a 5er hitch. I purchased a Reece Goose Box 20,000lb and toy hauler is 18,000. I have been very pleased the last year of towing with the GB. If I had a 5er over 20,000lb or for some reason needed to replace my GB I would definitely consider going with the GenY. “Happy Trails” Chiefneon

RE: aluminum flat bed

Howdy! We purchased our new I didn’t even consider a truck with a conventional bed. I went with a custom hauler bed from 2L custom. I also did not go with a 5er hitch. I replaced my 5er pin box with a Reece Goose Box and made use of the goose neck ball in the truck. Very happy with the truck and the Goose Box hitch.,94720 “Happy Trails” Chiefneon

RE: Portable pellet smoker

Howdy! We are fulltimers and have been using a Treager portable scout pellet smoker. I chose it over the Davey Crocket as it fit into our 5er better. It does a good job and we use it quite often. “Happy Trails” Chiefneon

RE: National parks balancing demands for cell service, silence

Howdy! I saw a problem with NPS cellular service a couple of years ago when we visited Yellowstone NP. They want you to use a app to navigate the park as to when the geysers would erupt. Only problem was the parks cellular service was sim to none. “Happy Trails” Chiefneon

RE: Jet pack 8800L have the problems been worked out?

i believe they have, but more important if you have the 'Unlimited' plan that you might be grandfathered in, it that Vzn won't allow you to go back to it.. Last advise I saw, as I was thinking of doing the same, was to get the 88.. from a 3rd party and then swap chips... This link might help, they just about cover it all... Hope that helps.. gotta watch Verizon, it's luv-hate thing... heheh Howdy! Thanks for the info. After researching their website I ordered a 8800L off Amazon. They recommended doing so to keep for losing me unlimited Verizon prepaid data plan. “Happy Trails” Chiefneon

Howdy! I’m having problems with my Verizon 7730L jet pack. My considering replacing it with a 8800L. I have read there were problems with it when it first came out. Can any one advise if these problems have been solved? Thanks. “Happy Trails” Chiefneon

RE: Gooseneck or 5th wheel

Howdy! Been fulltiming fr 13 years and up unti last year he always used a 5er hitch with airgbags. When we purchased our new Chevrolet 3500 DRW 2L custom hauler I researched the Reece Goose Box. Been using te GB for a year now ad liked very much. I don’t see a reason to g back to a 5er hitch. “Happy Trails” Chiefneon
