RE: Carpet on ceilings.....

Dear time to roll The foam is an integral part of a Northern Lite structure. Hence the word Lite is used in the brand. Dear covered wagon Keep vacuuming!

RE: Carpet on ceilings.....

Just be careful here. This is not really carpet like you have on the floor of your house with a backing and fibres woven into it. Tis is a spray on fibre bonded to the outer side of a foam panel.. It is not 'fabric glued to the roof', nor 'removing popcorn ceiling' nor can you 'rip it down', nor is contact cement used. 'Carpet' is a misnomer to describe this finish.

RE: back up camera

Did he connect it in the cab or at the back of the truck. If he connected it at the back of the truck and If the 'radio' is working then it must be the long wire from the back to front. or one of the connectors. Was this Ralph's on Venables? You can bring it over and I'll have a look at it. No promises. I'm in Kits

There is a thread here dated Dec 11 2016 on how to do a reset. That cannot hurt. David

RE: back up camera

The wire between the camera and the main unit carries the camera signal only. The power comes thru another power wire attached to the vehicle electric system. From what you said there are only these two connections to the main unit. Since the unit powers up it has power. Since the picture is the problem the problem most likely lies in the camera itself or camera wire. So next I’d like you to remove the camera and bring it close to the main unit bypassing as much wire as possible. If the wire has connectors take it apart there. If not cut it and strip it marking the ends with tape which you number so you can reassemble afterwards. Where do you live?

RE: back up camera

It is highly likely the flaw is in that wire. What is the brand and model of your back up system

RE: Truck bed camper shim

It is not a good practise to support only part of the TC bottom on the truck box floor. When you do part of the floor is unsupported and could sag and could develop weakness and cracks. I use a slab of closed cell construction foam. 100% coverage. 4x8 in my case. Easy to cut if need be. Cheap and waterproof.

RE: back up camera

If there is power going to the dash unit then it really only can be the camera/wire input. Usually the camera wire and camera are wired together. With a plug. The defect probably lies in that unit. Can you buy a new camera/wire part? David

RE: Need Advice

The scales don't lie! I had the same problem on a previous TC. I upgraded my rims and tires, Drove on the paved smooth highway and was ruthless in leaving 'gear' at home. Also it may not sit well with your insurers if you were in an incident and you were almost 1005 overloaded

RE: Arctic Fox 1150 is breaking my 2016 Ford 350 dually

Definitely do not want the wings touching anything. I use 2” structural foam 4x8 sheet.

RE: Palomino 1240 /F250 8' bed

I'd put a piece of structural closed cell foam on the floor. It comes in 4x8' sheets. I have 4" thick but that is my choice as I needed some height as I have lights on my cab roof. Inexpensive and light weight. In a TC weight is important.
