RE: Too old to drive ?

Did it seem that close calls became more frequent, or did you feel that the number 80 somehow meant that it was time? My dad was always a way better driver than me and I think that holds true now that he's 85. I feel bad that you may be unnecessarily putting yourself out of the game so I think a third party evaluation would be good for you. That way you'll have confidence in whatever decision you make.

RE: GD Momentum 395ms with Ram Megacab

There are many people who say, with the proper care, it's no problem. With that in mind I ended up bouncing off and damaging my cab more times than I care to admit. Slider, winder or long bed, just get something, because your day will come.

RE: Check Engine Light...Going on 5 years & 20,000 miles...

I had a somewhat similar experience, although on the Chevy side. It sometimes took a bit to start and was rough on idle until I goosed it a little. It ended up being the fuel pump. After it sat for a bit, the fuel pressure dropped and it took a while to get it up again. It ran great after the the initial start up and goose. It would even start right back up fine. Not that you want to just go throwing parts at it, but that's what mine was. Also, K&N are actual garbage. I learned this running quads in the dunes. Use a stock paper filter.

RE: 38' toy hauler suggestions

Late to the party here, but I just saw the Momentum 351 at the RV Show in Tampa. Having had several garage-less toy haulers in the past, the 11' also concerns me. However, I really thought the floor plan was awesome. If you can eek out 2 more feet, the 381 has the 15' garage. I've been thinking about going the MH and trailer route, in an effort to keep things smaller, but this trailer has me thinking. Unfortunately, there are some pretty tough reviews about Momentum online. I was thinking they might be a higher end operation, but perhaps not.
