RE: RT 20 from Pioneer ohio to elkhart Indiana

Good road use it all the time from the last stop of the Ohio toll road to the Elkhart area, never gone farther then that but have thought about it for missing some of the Ohio tolls

RE: Wishing to stay out of I-95S through Washington DC

From West Chester best bet would be 202 to 95 south then Route 1 in De. then the 301 bypass around Middletown De. ( toll ), Continue to follow 301 thru Md. across the Bay Bridge (no toll southbound) into Va. where the 2 lane bridge is that 2 Retired mentioned which is a south bound toll, then shortly after the bridge decide if you want to stay on 301 or there is another road that will take you to 95 at exit 104 which I believe is one exit above Kings Dominion, either choice is good I have used both but depends on how the traffic is.

RE: Washing RV while traveling

Some campgrounds that say no on washing might let you if you ask nice and also during the week when they are less busy. One we were just in in South Dakota was like that and we paid them a extra $10 for the extra water use, I do use the wash wax all but after a month or more on the road it needed the extra love

RE: Any Sandpiper owners out there?

Between the two I think the Pinnacle would be the better choice as far as the quality level goes.

RE: Covid 19 impact on interstate travel?

No restrictions so far on our trip from De. to New Mexico, we use our masks and social distance as much as possible, have not eaten out unless outside tables. Some campgrounds bath houses are closed and then some are not, have seen pools open. We just try to check each state where we are heading before we arrive to know what to expect. New Mexico currently has a mandatory 14 day quarantine for people entering the sate from other states unless they're passing through. New Mexico residents returning from out of state are required to quarantine at home for 14 days. Out of state residents coming to New Mexico are required to quarantine themselves for the first 14 days of their visit. Unless you're planning to stay in NM for more than 14 days (with the first 14 of them in quarantine), you should plan to keep going and not stop overnight. https://www.newmexico.gov/2020/07/07/new-mexico-travel-restrictions-in-effect/ Ye you are correct but with us the governor put the next phase on hold for re-opening and the 14 day after we arrived and we were lucky as we already have been here longer then that.

RE: Destination / Park Model Trailers

In a destination trailer I would look at the Cedar Creek Cottage, now if your talking a park model I have no suggestion on what brand there. Good luck on your search.

RE: The better 5th wheeler?

We currently own a River Stone Legacy and are very happy with it, it actually might be a bit heavy for your current truck but I let that decision up to you. You also might want to look at the brand new line called Alliance, they really listen to the consumer and also have been very customer supportive so far, now there are not a lot of them out there just yet so time could tell a different story. Good luck on your search.

RE: pa, grand canyon

I would use Stoney Fork or the one owned by his son. Agree with Stony Fork, they did not own the other park when we went, with kids Stony Fork has more to keep them busy, pool, fishing lake but watch for bears at night.

RE: RV service

I have used the service center at the Shipsweanna Flea Market Campground, the work has been very good as is the service, we stayed at the campground and they would pick up and return our unit (5th wheel) for us plus being able to stay in it at nights was a plus to not have to hotel it. I did podt a review on RV Service

RE: Insurance question

Probably easiest to just handle your self,I do not think most insurance would cover this or just say it was not cared for correctly so not to cover it, plus the age of the unit might fall into play as well, let us know what you end up doing. Good luck

RE: I Have One Chance

Seeing your in Pa.why not (if held this year) go to the Hershey show just to look around at the different type of rv's to see if by chance she likes a certain class of motorhomes, that might hep convince her to enjoy it more.

RE: YouTube camping videos

Watts on Wheels and Suite Travels as they both tow with a class 8 truck like we do and Watts on Wheels usually does great reviews on rv parks so if they fit I know we will.

RE: Monster Tow Vehicle

RobertRyan, please don't let the negative posts bother you as I really like the things you post from Down Under, I think they are all interesting and nice to see how folks adapt and use them to suit their needs even if some folks think they are overkill, heck we get that about our rig until they really learn more about why we do what we do. I have watched videos of the caravans with the carnivals and the circus that travel Europe and even what they have is different nd would like to see more of them and learn why they use what they do. Keep the
