RE: Camping World/The Profit

If the unit had prior warranty work done on it for whatever part and the part malfunctioned again warranty will kick it back because it was already done. Think about it. Why would a brand new RV on the lot need any warranty work on it???? Actually not true. While under the warranty period the item would be covered no matter how many times it failed. As to why it would need warranty work; parts fail even new ones. After bouncing around who knows where a flaky new part fails and needs replacing. The dealer does it before sale(which would be unusual but I guess it happens) to make it ready for sale.

RE: membership extension offer

Cable companies, cell phone companies, gyms, insurance, and a host of other companies and associations play the "introductory" plan game. If this is the only thing that bothers you about GS then I would consider you fortunate. This model of membership is everywhere and it isn't going anywhere. It has proven itself over the years as effective with many members renewing without even considering the increase. The renewing members either think it is still "worth it" or they just don't realize the change. Wait until you get the "automatic" renewal terms that some require.

RE: Morryde Step Above

Love the solid feel and the handrail. Would definitely get them again. Ours came with a lift assist shock and you can lift it or lower it with very little effort.

RE: Great new electrical connectors

I have used the In-Sure connectors for a while now for low voltage and electrical connections. They have worked perfectly in all situations so far. They hold tightly and are so easy to use. I have just recently started experimenting with the WAGO Lever-Nuts and so far have nothing but good things to say about them. You can go on WAGOs website and request samples if you want to play around with them. The one thing I like best is being able to see the connection and know it is completely made between the wire and device.

RE: Fort Wilderness Trip Planned correct) Link Reserve the cart now, there may not be any available the day you arrive. Do the online check in and show up early. Even if you can not get in when you arrive, they have overflow parking to go to and you can leave it there and go on into the parks or enjoy other activities until they notify which site.

RE: RV wholesalers?

I will second WANA RV. Great to deal with, no gimmicks, good prices. We bought our current one from them and will consider doing it again when the time comes.

RE: stopping point/overnight camp between Ohio & Fort Wilderness

I appreciate it! Also, welcome any recommendations on Fort Wilderness at Disney. Our first time there.... If you arrive early(before check-in time) just ask if spots are available, may get in early or even get an upgrade. There is an overflow area if they are not ready for you and you can park it then go on into the parks and come back later to go to site and setup. Transportation is available by bus both inside the fort area and out to all the parks. A boat is available to take you to the Magic Kingdom. If you want to drive to the parks; parking is free since you are staying on property. Check out the is spelled correctly)website lots of good info. There is also an app that gives pictures of all the sites and a commentary about it. if you want or need a golf cart reserve now there may not be any when you arrive. If you want to reserve one from the outside services you have to arrange to pick it up off property.

RE: Signing a power of attorney for bank when selling your RV

SE Financial looks like a broker not a bank/credit union. They take their cut from the financed amount. Probably want power of attorney so they can "shop" the title to a bank/credit union. Not something I would want to be mixed up in.

RE: Are RV shows worth it?

We go to RV shows for a nice outing. Get to pick up some freebie items and look at the new trailers. Seeing the new additions might give an idea or two for something to do to current trailer. Have never bought at the shows. Get to see a lot in one stop.

RE: Buyer Beware: Reserve America / Active Advantage

Fair enough. I do wonder what happens if the pop-up is actually blocked. Hopefully the OP was able to obtain a full refund without too much trouble. If the website is configured for it then the pop-up won't show up because the blocker is enabled but it will still process the sign up(if the default is opt-in)and you would never know until you get the email or the charge.

RE: Ford reaches tentative UAW contract.

They will just put in more automation and get rid of more people. Or start farming more parts out to suppliers. They might of won the battle and lose the war. I have two friends that work for GM and they have been prepping for the loss of their jobs to automation for a few years. They are convinced the new contract will spell the end for them before this one expires. Luckily, the ratification bonus helps them toward their goal to be ready in time.

RE: I-4 though Orlando

To borrow a phrase... Just say no to I4. There are many alternates depending on where in the area you are headed. Some are toll roads but the toll is much preferred to sitting on I4.

RE: Oops, Dodge just threw you under the bus...

Went to the auto show at Texas state fair last week. Every one of the RAMS they had on display were very low on payload numbers. One of the new Ford Rangers on display had half of the RAMS beat. Sad face :(

RE: Interior lights cauing Radio interference

Did the problem show up after the change? Many LEDs are known to cause interference. May have to change to another type/brand.

RE: Cuts to the Senior discount coming?

Senior discounts are a privilege, not an obligation. I enjoy those when available, and don't worry about it when not. If reducing those helps maintain the parks, then I am all for it. X2

RV camping at Disney World’s Fort Wilderness at Christmas time! Agreed but it is probably too late for this season to get anything.
