RE: Connecting external speakers to tv

Posting here again in case it might help someone in the future. Someone here and on another forum suggested using the earphone jack on the tv. I ordered a cable from Amazon with a 3.5mm plug on one end and rca plugs on the other end. Plugged the earphone jack into the tv and rca end into the DVD’s player. Now all my speakers work. Thanks for your input.

RE: Connecting external speakers to tv

Sorry for asking, folks. Didn't intend to cause arguments etc. Should have learned by now that simply asking a dumb question would cause some people to reply by reminding me what a doofus I am. For those that tried to help, I appreciate it. I'll figure it out for myself if I can.

RE: Connecting external speakers to tv

If all else fails, you could read the manual that came with the TV. Wow, thanks for the help.

Connecting external speakers to tv

Have a question about connecting my HDTV to better speakers. In my 2004 Jayco motorhome, I have replaced my old tv with a new HDTV. However as most of you know the speakers in the tv are terrible, especially with the furnace or AC running. When I bought the MH it already had a DVD/AMFM radio installed with wires running to four speakers installed in the MH. What I need to know is, can I connect my TV THRU the DVD player's speakers? Note that the DVD player is an old one and DOES NOT have an HDMI connection, if that makes any difference. What cables do I need and where do I connect them is what I need to know. Any information appreciated and any questions you may have to help me are welcomed.

RE: Roku in motorhome

Yes. We do it all the time. Do you have Verizon? I am told I can use up to 15GB per device on 4G. Is that similar to yours? Thanks.

Roku in motorhome

I have a Roku stick on my home tv which I rarely use. My question is, can I use this device on my MH tv to get tv reception at the campground. I have an iPhone with Verizon service and "unlimited" data. Can I use my iPhone as a mobile hotspot and connect it to the Roku device to at least get youtube etc?

RE: Onan 4kw issue

The transfer if equipped is normally close to the converter Why would you state this? Its not true. But, just want to know why you would think it is. Doug Why would you say it is NOT TRUE? Are all RV's built exactly alike? I don't think so.
