Guardian Rock Shield won't stop much and it blocks the radiator. Overheat big it stick above the hood. They made a black and they made chrome brush guard . or whatever their label was. Didn't cost much about 180 to 250 dollars I think I remember. It plugged into the horns in place of the two equipment. quote you take it off and store under the motor home when using the toad,a two minute job and does not over heat vehicle

stop by a grocery store and pick up a 4/6 pack and 6/2 liter empty pop crates. they are about 4" and 6 1/2" high. turn the over and you have a nice platform. i have seen a couple people use them. not fancy but will work

your first question. all good roads and very scenic,take your time and enjoy second question. its been to many years ago to comment on road condition but will say it is mostly a very boring drive.
