RE: Ice Maker Quit

First thing I would do, is shut it down and let the refrigerator warm up to room temperature over night. Then turn it back on and see what happens. Mine freezes up from time to time. I leave mine on 24/7, when you don't go in it for a long time, it will get cold soaked, freezing the feed line.

RE: brake shoes

After having the linings come off the shoes 3 years in a row and taking out the drums the 3rd time, I bit the bullet and installed disc brakes. It was going to be $1300 to replace all the brakes and drums, I bought everything to install disc brakes for $1600. It took less than a day to install, and haven't looked back.

RE: Memphis to Branson

I have taken 55 north out of memphis to 555 to 63 to 412 to 65, much easier driving, a lot of new 4 lane, faster and shorter with better road.

RE: Slide Electrical Issues

All systems on the trailer are 12 volt. Since it operates when plugged in, it will be a battery issue. Have your battery tested, if over 3 years old, replace it.

RE: How am I going to re-attach this jack?

I would build a corner pocket out of aluminum or steel to cradle the corner and mount the jack to. If you were in my neighborhood, I could help you with the fabrication

RE: 2018 RAM 2500 aux switches

You have to go into the EVIC and select a function for that switch. Also, each switch has a different load capacity

RE: Help with fuel transfer valve

The fuel flapper/ball/whatever it is in the fuel neck can seep/leek when over filled. Ask me how I know. I would put some kind of shut off, electric solenoid valve or like to keep from over filling.

RE: Aluminum or Plastic aux fuel tank

I use a pump to transfer system, the capless fuel tank can leak with the gravity fill.

RE: trailer wheel weight rating/compared to tire psi rating?

You have to replace the wheels to accommodate the higher pressure.

RE: New Outside Stairs

When I installed 6 point levelers on our Landmark, the steps had to go, they were in the way of the center jack. I installed MORyde Step above. Despite the negatives that are mentioned above, we love them. Yes you need to take extra care in cleaning them before storing them, but the stability and safety is well worth it

RE: 93 Vectra

With out further information or a picture, my best guess is, it is the fresh/clean air supply for the air compressor. Needs to be repaired ASAP! You are loosing boost pressure and getting dirty air into the compressor, both bad news.

RE: Shop Mechanic in the Maintenance Department

In exchange for 20 hours work per week our workampers receive an allowance toward a full-hookup RV site, electricity use and cable. Bay View is a full-service RV destination with full hook up sites and amenities in a park-like setting. Please send your resume to [email protected] or call us at 361-400-6000.
Key word, "toward", doesn't mean for a site, sounds like a credit towards a site.

RE: Comfort Ride Slipper Spring system w/shocks

I wouldn't recommend that system. No equalizer, means you have to to perfectly level or you will have unevenly loaded axles and tires if not level. The ride will be stiffer, on uneven roads, you will have each axle loading and unloading.

RE: Slide Support

I have used them since 2010, actually have had a tire go down on that side with no
affect at all. When we stop for one night on a trip, I don't take the time to use them. when we setup for the duration, I install them with just enough pressure to keep them from falling out. The rig has less movement when used.
