RE: Washington State

Palouse Falls has a small camp area. The gravel road into park area is quite often very rough. There is a KOA at Lyons Ferry Marina that is a few miles away. Watch the roadas WA sr 127 has steep down grade south bound! It would be better for a day trip!

RE: Washington State

I agree that the state parks are over-priced and then the additional Discovery Pass charge. I avoid state parks and use the national parks, national foreset and BLM parks.

RE: Washington State

You should plan a day or more at MT St Helens. The Olympic US 191 is not to be missed. Tatoosh Head is farthest west point in contigent US. Opposite of Florida. Several NPS campgrounds along loop. Come to eastern Washington. Much of eastern WA is high desert. Visit Grand Coulee dam in the evening and after dark for laser show on face of dam. US 2 over the Cascade Mtns Stevens Pass visit Leavenworth or travel over Cascades on WA SR 20 over North Cascades and visit Winthrop. Leavenworth has a Bavarian motif where Winthrop is a western motif. Many of the state aprks are decent. Order the vacation guide from Washington State

RE: Best places to park the TT @ Yellowstone

Grizzly is not next to grizzly bear and wolf sanctuary. The one next to it is Buffalo Crossing. Grizzly is about four blocks away. Make reservations early as better parks fill up early in season!

RE: Have no electrical power and no propane on one side of coach

I am thinking it was not gauge, but solenoid propane valve wire.

RE: Converter kaput need to buy better one.

I would test the fuses, do not go by looks. PD 9200 series is still my choice.

RE: Converter kaput need to buy better one.

OP: Haven't seen a reply as to what converter you now have. I suggested the PD9245, but if you have a converter that is mounted below the breakers and fuse panel, I would have to rethink replacement.

RE: Converter kaput need to buy better one.

I should have asked for model of your converter and verify the make.

RE: '83 Toyota pickup start trouble in cold, wet weather

Starting fluid ignites at a much smaller spark. Look for tracking between the primary and secondary terminals on coil and cap. It may look like a pencil mark.

RE: Converter kaput need to buy better one.

What is the amperage of your existing converter? What size wire goes from the converter to the batteries? A 45 amp would normally suffice! With larger wire you could go up. PD 9245 would be my choice.

RE: Camping Suggtions for Baker City, Oregon area please

Which route are you taking? Are you going straight east on OR 22 and US 20 or around the interstates?

RE: Have no electrical power and no propane on one side of coach

Many Fleetwood products have a solenoid to turn the propane off at the tank. Check propane detector to insure it is on

RE: IOTA Circuit breaker Box

Went back quickly through posts and didn't find make and model of inverter. Many inverters have a floating neutral. The instructions should show where to connect the ground to the neutral.

Original posters disappear quite often! Yes, Hossiermark should have started his/her own thread.

RE: inverter/charger issues

AC unit should have been wired to the 120 volt distribution panel for use on shore power, not through the inverter.

RE: inverter/charger issues

Who ever installed AC unit to inverter screwed up or you were ripped off! AC units would draw down batteries in a big hurry!

RE: Water heater question

Here is one Anode with drain valve

RE: Water heater question

I would stay with the standard anode. Buy the proper sized socket, extension and ratchet to make it very easy to remove and install. The small drains can and will clogg up. You may think you drained the tank but guess what, you didn't!
