RE: Wi if booster

I'm might add that those who stream in the campground tend to ruin it for the rest of us who are just trying to do some normal internet and email stuff. Might I suggest that you download your content in advance so you can either watch it offline on your tablet or cast it to your TV.

Keep in mind that the 4x4 also drops the payload.

RE: South Lake Michigan

I have to admit, though, that this might be a crummy time to visit Michigan. Their Covid restrictions have been extended for 6 more months. We didn't go last summer (obviously) and I don't expect we'll go there this summer, either. Looking to head northwesterly instead and find some quiet, lonesome spots in the mountains. Nothing that would impact a visitor has been extended for 6 months. The extension had to do with rules for employers, not the public. Living in Michigan, I find that the current restrictions have little or no impact on my daily life and certainly shouldn't be a cause for avoiding travel here.

RE: Best Cell Phone App

You'll likely just want to use android auto. After a first use it just fires up automatically. It used to ask whether to use Google Maps or Waze but I think since Google is combining the features of the two apps it uses maps automatically.

RE: New Cell Phone..had to ask?

Skip the stores. Go to Amazon or B&H Photo, buy a couple of $200 unlocked phones and switch to Ting or some other MVNO. You'll save enough money on carrier charges to pay for the phones.
