RE: Radial Tire Valve Core Failures

Although I have not had a valve core failure, I have had 4 of the six valve stems leak and while trying to tighten the nut to stop the leak, the threads strip out. All of these valve stems are from Les Schwab. Cheap Chinese junk is what they sell. I have had nothing but bad luck with their products and in my hometown store, horrible workmanship. No more Les Schwab for me.

RE: Breaker panel label

Turn it off and see what doesn’t work. Then you will know.

RE: Tire Failure

My local Les Schwab store does horrible work and they use cheap Chinese valve stems and wheel weights. Had a set of their trailer tires seperate after less than a 1000 miles of service.

RE: Decals cracking!

When I did mine I used a combination of heat gun, plastic razor blades, goo gone and a rubber eraser wheel. The eraser wheel worked the best and left the least amount of residue behind to deal with. Remember, you may have some ghosting of the decals left after removal and may not be able to polish that out. I chose to use the ghost images left as templates and painted the graphics back on using automotive paint. It is simply a tedious job. Good luck.

RE: RV navigation systemsl

Going to try to use my iPad for navigation. Just got a Garmin stand alone GPS device that connects to my iPad via Bluetooth. Then use any navigation app you want. I am using Maps.me. All this without the need for cell service or a $400 gps device.

Portable Kennel fan

Has anybody found or used a reasonably priced kennel fan? Specifically a 12 volt system. Not interested in battery powered units. Everything I can find ranges from $160 to $200.

RE: Receiver Hitch for Trailer

You might be able to get some ideas from Lippert. https://store.lci1.com/shop-by-department/cargo-storage/cargo.html Mounting the rack in multiple places on the bumper could be enough to spread out the load and be a doable solution. Good luck

RE: Solar Panels

https://www.parkedinparadise.com/solar-calculator/ This is just one of multiple places to look to answer your question. But, rather than build a system just for the RV, why not look into building a true off-grid power system.
