RE: Camper Cover

I've had two ADCO's, and they did a good job.

RE: Something I've not seen before.

The top pic shows the RV on its side, and looks like the king pin being the weakest link could not handle the stress.

RE: Gen Y vs. Reese Goose Box

Thank you for al the responses, much appreciate the time you spent helping my decision.
I have decided to order a Reese 20k Goosebox and associated ball/chain hardware.
Yesterday I installed a shock kit on the trailer so I am anticipating a smoother ride overall once the hitch is installed.
Cheers!

Looks great, what brand kit did you get?
Thanks

RE: Turning Point pin boxes on new campers!

I would not purchase a 5th wheel with that pinbox, due to the wedge insert prying on your hitch head at every turn, and you can only hitch up if your straight in line with the rv.
There are many other choices for short bed trucks beside this one.

RE: Cleaning shower with grey/white "water spots".

BarKeepers Friend, and windex works great for mineral deposits on auto glass, but not sure on fiberglass.

RE: Love my Fithwheel but looking for more...

Seems like the trend now is 40'+ rv's, but my 32' suits us fine.
If I were going to tour Canada, or Alaska I would consider a truck camper.

RE: Which pick up to buy for towing big fifth wheel?

What you have heard is correct, a dually will give you the most payload, stability, and would be my choice.

RE: So Lost

I would pull it home, and go trade your truck for a F-350 Dually, or get a shorter, and lighter FW.
You need the stability of a drw with a 41' FW.

RE: Memphis

Tom Sawyer, Graceland, or the Tunica casinos would be my choice. I'm not sure if Southland casino in West Memphis has rv parking.

RE: E rated tire with max psi of 65?

The Nitto 295/70/18 rated 4080# would seem to be a better choice for a truck camper, and would fit your wheels.

RE: How to cap an old roof antenna hole?

Look at hardware store for stool, or crutch rubber tips, and use Dicor self leveling caulk on it.
If its level use eternabond tape.

Ken, I hope , and pray for the best for you, and your wife. If she's like mine, they are no happier than when rolling down the highway with the rv.

RE: comfortable ride in an one ton dually??

You know what they say, happy wife, happy life.
If ride is still rough with over 3k in the bed there are are several things you can do like tire pressure, air bags, air hitch, cushion pin box, shocks of FW.
