RE: Current crop of SUV'S

Why do they call them SUV'S when then vast majority of them are glorified station wagons? To me a SUV is a truck based full frame vehicle. Got to love marketing. ok boomer

RE: Where's the 2020 Ram HD?

Is there some change between the 2019 and 2020? The local ram dealer has the new body style chassis cabs in stock.

RE: Ram HD 1000 lb-ft MPG loop

Is it just me or did the payload seem low for a upgraded frame and increased towing?.... 5,300 seems low for a brand advertising over 7k in a regular cab

RE: 2019 Ram HD Towing Reviews

I drive too fast for an aluminum hood, dang thing would wrinkle up like foil. I'll stick to the my tried and true steel bodied GM. it will rot to death from the salt in three years but at least I won't have to deal with the wear and tear from an aluminum hood.

RE: Noisy gmc 2500hd in 4 hi

One of the many advantages of the new 2015 MY pick-ups is the cabin is quieter compared to previous model years. For that reason, when the vehicle is in 4WD mode (HI or Low), there may be some noticeable sound from the transfer case. if the cab is quieter how can outside sounds seem louder? -deep thoughts by jack handy

RE: Grand Design Quality

I'm sorry I must have missed it where cedar creek and cardinal offer a 101" wide body the same as GD. for the same price there are some key pieces missing.

RE: Grand Design Solitude vs Solitude s class

there's no much of a difference, for instance even though their site shows a camper fridge in the s-class a residential can still be ordered. I think if purchasing from a dealer a reduced price and options can be had but if ordering you can get a "solitude" in more floor plans. for example we love the bunk model s class, but add a residential fridge and it's the same as a regular solitude.

RE: 2020 GMC HD Reveal

push button start....5 years too late - check 8" screen.....smaller than most cell phones - check vinyl wheel well trim...nothing says $70k like more plastic - check sticking with the ool' frame wax guaranteed to be rusting at time of purchase - check lol "it doesn't chip" :r: tow rating north of 30K...5 years too late but hey it's better than the old 23k solve a tailgate problem that didn't need solved only to discover it can hit the receiver - doh made rear seat legroom.......15 years too late - check I see we're back to the enormous wheel wells and tiny tires; what are they 245's?

RE: 2019 Ram HD

OK all you knowledgable people WHY have we not heard about CP4.2 pump failures like we used to?????? All mfg have upped the fuel filtration systems. The CP4.2 does not like any moisture. All diesel fuel contains some moisture and contaminants. Higher pressure pumps simply can not handle contaminated fuel. You cant fix the fuel problem so you must be able to treat the fuel problem. yeah well what about all the 2011-2013's driving around with OEM filtration for that MY? where's the catastrophic failures? I am not going to answer it for you but a simple Google search will find your answer. so you don't know then No! They have problems. You want me to supply links and verbiage to back it up. I have already done my homework and know the answers. I feel you are in front of a computer and can do your own research and answer your own question. posting a couple "horror" stories doesn't prove anything other than a few people can make a lot of noise. so either all fuel makers radically fixed these contaminated fuel issues or the issues weren't as wide spread as some would have you to believe.

RE: Duramax Emissions issue?

Had to take my 2014 2500HD in today, engine light.. Onstar said emissions but not critical IE you can drive it. Dealer now says DEF tank issue and a sensor. $900 for the sensor, it is out of warranty, but DEF tank issue covered. Not a happy camper LOL 37,700 on the truck 2 months out of the 5 year 50K. Seems I have read about DEF Emissions issues before. Anyone else? I had a def issue and deleted. I'm not dumping money into emissions out of warranty. might as well burn $100 bills.
