RE: Atwood 8531-IV furnace problems please help

Replace the relay delay switch it’s still only thing that isn’t new The operating sequence is relay delay turns the fan motor on fan motor goes through I believe the limit switch first or maybe the sale switch first before it could activate the board which then activates the ignition cycle and the gas valve my guess is probably the relay delay switch is not keeping the fan motor running long enough it should run for about 45 seconds before the igniter start

RE: New Class A - Water Entry

If you’re holding tanks are overflowing into the bays somethings wrong they should be watertight you need to get them fixed the only way you will know if it’s water coming from the holding tanks is to fill them completely up and watch for the water to be dripping into the bays clean both tanks completely and drain them and then fill one at a time completely full until the water is backing up into the shower in the toilet and if there’s a water leak from the holding tanks it will show up like I said there should be absolutely no leaks from either tank if it’s a 2020 it’s under warranty Winnebago will fix it

RE: Furnace trouble again .....

Whoever you talk to at suburban must be new or was not a technician I have worked on RV furnaces for over 30 years it’s normal for them to cycle on and off I’ve never seen one that didn’t you can continue to work on this thing and let it drive you nuts and I’m telling you it will continue to cycle on and off for the rest of its life once you check the flow and the pressure of the regulator and clean the oil out of the lines which only usually is in the line from the tank to the regulator and sometimes in the low pressure line but it rarely gets into the appliances as they are always above The main gas line fluid does not run uphill yeah less the line is completely full which I doubt would ever occur

RE: Furnace trouble again .....

That’s normal operation so the furnace doesn’t get too hot it has a high temperature limit switch which limits the temperature inside the furnace and they normally cycle like that LP regulators sometimes make a little noise don’t worry about it if you want to check it you have To get a manometer to check the pressure and the flow you can find that information probably in YouTube

RE: Propane winterizing

Leave them full connected and the batteries charged just in case one might need an extra heat source in an emergency

RE: Brake fluid change?

My theory is more maintenance less repair I also use speed bleeder which makes the process very simple
