RE: Please help me choose between these two portable smokers

I have the portable Master Built smoker mentioned in the first post in this thread. I love it. Good for a non expert as myself.

RE: Look what I found at the dollar store...

After keeping my eyes open for something like it for about five years, I finally found this...and at the dollar store even, so plenty affordable. Merry Christmas to me! (Interestingly, the die-cast metal part is basically just the cab and a sort of backbone along the bottom of the toy, while the plastic part is the whole camper body. That struck me as an unusually realistic construction technique!) Pretty cool - Which dollar store, Family Dollar, Dollar General or Dollar Tree?

RE: Seasonal Site

Is anyone using their Class A Motorhome on a seasonsl site, instead of a travel trailer? I have seen a Class A seasonal at a campground we frequent. In my opinion, they have the best setup there.

RE: You might be an RV if?

Not mine but you might be an RV if the bank owns you.

RE: Hey Smokers! (meat, that is)

Good price on the refurbished Masterbuilt portable Portable Masterbuilt I have the portable smoker which cost $79 new. Love it! I am not very good at smoking the ribs. I am pretty good at smoking chicken so stick to my strength. :)

RE: Looking to sell - any advice?

Do not buy anything on wheels expecting to get anywhere close to what you paid for it unless it is a classic car etc. Best wishes to the original poster.

RE: On Call for Work While Camping

Yes. I'm also in the IT business. As long as my hotspot can connect, I haven't had any problems in doing any remote support work. The worst part has been the intrusion on a relaxing vacation! :) I got called a couple times while camping this weekend. Was not too bad. I probably had to do an hours worth of work.

RE: What Did You Do To Your Class B Today ?

Drove my van to work all of last week. It did great and a good conversation piece with my co-workers.

RE: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?

Drove it to work Thursday and Friday. The 1989 still drives great. It still does not burn or leak any oil. It was clean as can be when I checked it.

RE: Tail gates

Yes, the GMC ad is getting old. I will take my recently purchased 2008 Honda Ridgeline swivel tailgate, bed trunk and price over the new GMC. Stock image: height=500 width=700

RE: Prepping for sale

In most cases, it will make no difference at all in the sales price. This is probably true but including misc. items may help the RV sell faster.

RE: Interior windshield privacy curtain and door screen

Concerning the original poster's question regarding "the benefits of a screen for the sliding door", you should be able to find some good YouTube videos on that. It sounds like you have a very nice van.

RE: Getting ADCO Windshield Cover Into Storage Bag?

ADCO Windshield Cover is still great even though it cannot fit in the bag. I will take that trade off.

RE: Coach net vs FMCA road side assist

Coach Net has been great the times I have called them. In my opinion, don't even consider Good Sam. I have had (past tense) their plan.....

RE: Answer Your Phones

The worse thing is they did not return your voicemail call or did they give you that option?

RE: On Call for Work While Camping

Work has supplied me a WiFi hot spot as we know how unreliable campground internet is.

RE: Roadside Assistance

I have had Good Sam. They had no sense of urgency when I would call. I have Coach Net now and every time I call, they have that sense of urgency. I cannot say enough good things about Coach Net.

RE: Cricket golf carts

Are these very good on gravel. The main campground we go to is graveled but is very smooth/flat.
