RE: Rear Hitch Bike Rack for Travel Trailer

Easy fix for bike racks...simply add an eye screw to each side of trailer into the corner, thru the rubber trim that covers the screws. about height of bike seat. Add ratchet strap from one eyescrew around bike and to other eyescrew . Stops all bouncing of bikes this not ripping off bumper.

RE: Would appreciate the groups thoughts on tandem axle issue

Same thing happened to mine . Undersized axles right from the factory. My rear one straightened out thus causing the both reat tires to wear on the inside on my maiden voyage. Had to rotate tires to get home ...ontario to nefoundland..big trip. . Front tire was ascue from the start . Could be caused by poor weld from the get go or transport company hitting a curb delivering it. Lippert admitted that axles shouldnt do that so thay shipped 4400# axles and springs in liew of the 3500 # ones on it . I was under weight also. Maybe have bigger axles installed under waranty. Company shipped me 4 new tires too.

RE: generator bumper mount tray carriers

What everyou decide , simply add an eyescrew to each corner of the trailer about 3 ft above the bumper into the rubber trim that hids the screws on the corner piece . There is meat to screw int whether it is 2 x 2 wood or aluminum. Attach a chain or rope to hold up the corners so ther is no bouncing...

RE: Outdoor GFCI outlet trips when using electric cooktop

Ok guys . So .i pluged mine into a regular plug. My bad ... How many campers or tenters plug an extention cord into the 15a plug on the pedistal (that is not a gfci ) and run griddles ,kettles and coffee makers off that . I would be very suspicious of a campground that has such an outdated electrical system the the 15/20a receptacles are not GFCI protected. I haven't seen that for ages. Most sites I have been to have a 30a and a 15 a which does not have gfi. Might be different in the US but here in Ont I havent seen them.

RE: Outdoor GFCI outlet trips when using electric cooktop

Mine is the samee...just plug it into a different plug ,that is not on gfi, with an extention cord. I disagree, the GFCI is there to save lives. The cooktop is probably defective and should be tossed. I'm not real strong on the "toss", but somebody that knows what they are doing to check for small short. But if it is more important to use than to be safe, keep kids, dogs and other important things away from it.It could cost more to repair than to replace the unit. I would hope that a rational person would consider it more important to be safe. GFCIs are designed to protect you from potential electric shock. To me this trumps any "use" consideration. Ok guys . RE: Truck power to trailer

Fuse under hood in your fuse box not hooked up or not there. Look in your manual,if they give you one, and see whick it is. Should be a 30 pr 40 a square fuse. Could be the wire under hood not connected yet.

RE: Lost keys

Once you get it opened , just unscrew the 4 screws inside the door latch and there is a key code for that lock , all dealers have various one for sale. Get 2 and hide one in your storage compartment and hide a 751 storage key to get into that compartment in your water heater area or propane area in a magnetic holder...that way if someone finds the 751 hidden key they will not know where you hid the actual trailer key...

RE: Locks on Propane tanks?

By law in both countries, I think , Propane assess doors need to be unlocked.. If you have a TT with 2 -30 lb'ers jusr get a long shank lock and lock the wing nut to the assembly.
