RE: Crossroads Sunset Trail trailers - thinking might buy

I just sold my 13 25rb reserve. It had the brown cap and was clearcoated under warranty. Yours will just have a flat panel on the front ,they were known to fade also and delamination as water can enter at seam between front and checker plate. Check to make sure tires are not rubbing on bottom of trailer. It will have a schwintec slide that you should google to find out how to over ride etc. Also check tires and make sure they are no more than 5_6 yrs old..good yr endurance is what I had on mine.

RE: Is there a weight limit on cabover bed?

The problem you may find is that you lose 4 inches of head room. Should be no prob with weight . I weight 170 and there are guys that weight 340 and makes no diff . No offense to 340 lb guys...lol

RE: Deep metal "groaning sound" from hitch. Is this normal?

The pads are called "bracket jackets" and well worth the 20bucks. Also a dab of grease where the bars move at the head. And on the ball too.

RE: Bike rack solution

I just added a couple of eye screws to the meat on the corners of the trailer as I dont have a ladder and racket strap from left side, around bikes and hook to right side, so bikes do not bounce...

RE: Do ice cubes in the black tank really work?

Start using the geo Method, will take a few fills and dumps but walls and sensors get slippery and all stuff falls off.

RE: Recommended Products For Restoring Fiberglass Shell

If it is white, then Maguire's colour restorer then cleaner wax will work for a while , if any colour like brown or grey then only painting will fix if right.

RE: Atwood Gas Oven Pilot Lighter Won't Spark

Lift the top of the stove and see how many wires run off the speaker...if you have 3 burners and have 3 wires , then spark is just for stove.

RE: Backing that trailer into a tight campsite..

Alot of times I am alone doing it and scout the area first for low branches, trees ,rocks etc.. then when backing ,I go 2- 3 ft ,get out and look and repeat. Always watch your front end of truck too.

RE: no hot water from taps

Sou is like your winterizing bypass valve is open . If you have a 3 valve or 2 valve bypass system, then ALL valves should be horizontal for summer or ALL valves vertical for winter bypass.

RE: 1994 Award bumper pool- battery help!!

Hello! Just purchased a 1994 award bumper pool trailer. The electricity works inside of the trailer when it is plugged into our car. It shows that the battery ON the trailer is full. We are having the hardest time figuring out how to access electricity from the battery on the trailer... It needs to be connected to a generator or our car for any of the electricity to work. Wondering if anyone has had this issue before with an award trailer?? Any help is so appreciated. Can definitely talk on the phone if that’s an easier way to explain! Electricity is 110v ,like your house...battery is 12v like the truck. Generator will supply 110v. Which are you referring to?

RE: Moisture under mattress solutions please

Hi, I don't read all posts but I put the dimple barrier that foundation guys put on house foundation exterior walls before backfilling with dirt. Allows air to move and no moisture. Also not expensive for a small piece.
