RE: Looking for revelstoke recommendations

there's also the KOA, not the greatest but there's a pool in the campground the kids may enjoy. We'e also stayed at the one N of Revy on the dam reservoir but the name escapes me at the moment.

RE: Moisture under mattress solutions please

I saw somewhere that someone was going to try a bunky board, they are cheaper than the other options. Don't remember the outcome though if they even reported back. Bunky Board

RE: Friction hinge fix

I guess I must be the only one that likes my friction hinge, the one on my truck camper has worked flawlessly for years.

RE: Weights. Am I missing something?

We don't get the piece of the paper in the glove box in Canada. We do get the yellow cargo capacity sticker on the door pillar which is simply the GVW - the weight of the truck. Best check your jurisdiction, everyone gives advice based on where they live not where you live. Some places such as BC do go by GVW in the rare event you get checked, no idea on Ontario.

RE: Stabil or Seafoam for long term gas can storage?

For my small engines I use Stihl Motomox, it's mixed gas but won't hurt a non 2-stroke. It lasts two years in the tank. I just put enough in to get it to the carb and then run it out of fuel. Didn't see it mentioned but from tests I've seen K100 does a better job than Stabil.

RE: Get camera/wires out SuperDuty tailgate?(Camera Source=$496)

these cables are used for other things as well, not sure why Ford decided to use them for the 360 camera. I've been using this exact cable for a couple years now.

RE: Thinking a Battery Monitor.............

seems to be some confusion how the bluetooth is used. The shunt is still hard-wired to the display. The display then has the ability to connect to your phone. It doesn't mean you can't still use the display if you choose to walk over to it. I find the bt very useful as I can be sitting outside with my phone and see how much solar I'm harvesting. It also makes setup much easier using the app than trying to enter it in using the display.

RE: Get camera/wires out SuperDuty tailgate?(Camera Source=$496)

I purchased cheap cables on ebay, Fakra brown female to female. Can't notice any difference vs oem cable. I purchased the kit from Camera-Source, but cable was way too long. It also used to be cheaper... but not much.

RE: AUX camera input Superduty: always live, at any speed?

I haven't looked for mine but I believe it's tucked up by the spare, may be easier to drop the spare to find it.
