RE: Dish Tv help needed

That is what I looked at and appears to be what I need. Will call solid signal and confirm wire plan and order parts. Thanks

RE: Dish Tv help needed

I do not want a hopper system installed but want to use my two Wally’s. I have a dish western arc 1000.2 antenna with 4 lnb outputs. My own research showed that I could install a dpi-42 switch to the antenna and a single coax to a satellite splitter off of this switch to feed the two Wally’s. What I need is someone with actual dish expertise to advise me if this method is feasible or is there another way.

Dish Tv help needed

I am trying to set up a home using the two Wally’s I use with my rv. The home is wired with coax from multiple rooms going to the attic. There is also a single coax line going from the outside to the attic. It is not easy to add another coax line going from outside to the attic. I have purchased a dish 1000 satellite dish with a quad lnb to install outside to feed this single coax line that goes to the attic.
I have read goggle search on how to split dish satellite signal to two receivers but am confused by them. How do I split the dish signal to feed two Wally receivers. Thanks

RE: Dish Satellite Dish

Dutch,
Thanks that was the info I needed. Will buy 1000.2 dish with western arc 3 lnb since I will be in Texas. Is it difficult to aim the dish for all 3 satellites.

Dish Satellite Dish

We currently have 2 Wallys in our motorhome that we use with a Winegard t4 satellite dome.
We hate that each Wally is confined to one satellite. We have now bought a rv lot to use and want to install a fixed ground based satellite dish that receives all 3 satellites and will allow each Wally to watch any satellite.
We have dish hopper 3 at home and the installer stated our Wallys would not work with the satellite dish at home. What type of dish and lab should I buy for the rv lot. Thanks

RE: Electric cord connection to tow car

If possible, borrow someone else’s power cord and try it. If borrowed cord fixes issue then you know where your problem is.

RE: Reyo, Via

Winnebago discontinued it when the new Mercedes chassis came out. They could no longer do a class a on the new Mercedes chassis.

Folding front bumper step

Cannot reach all of front window to wipe and thought maybe a folding front bumper step would help. Has anyone done this and found a front bumper step for the E450 Rv. Thanks

RE: San Diego RV Repair

Thanks for the info but AC is now fixed. Mikes Rv in Madera fixed the Ac by finding a loose bolt so a trip to Dometic service in San Diego is not needed. I highly recommend Mikes Rv for any Rv repairs that need to be done near Yosemite park.

San Diego RV Repair

Currently in Yosemite and 1500 miles from home on a western trip. Unfortunately the roof air conditioner started making horrific noise. It still cools and blows air but sounds like something came loose. I do not have any way to get on roof, so we are headed to our next stop, San Diego. Can anyone recommend a repair facility in San Diego that will handle an out of town rver.
We have a dometic air conditioner and hope these are available if a replacement is needed. Thanks

Solar Question

I just got portable solar panels and plan to put them out during the day while we explore the national parks. Since I will not be present to face the panel to the sun throughout the day, how should I face the panel initially for the best all day placement. Thanks

RE: Yosemite info needed

Will be traveling on 10/18. Middle of October. Another route around the park to the North on hwy 108 is also suggested. It is longer but would it be better or safer. Thanks

Weapon storage before Baja

We are getting ready to travel to Ensenada Baja from Potero, CA and need a place to check weapon before crossing border. When we went to Rocky Point there was a store that would check our weapon for a fee and return it to us when we were back in The USA.
If anyone know of a place near Potero that will check our weapon. Thanks
