RE: Is my RV a Chevy Express 3500 or 4500?

My suggestion is that the OP simply drives the motorhome over to the service department at a Chevy Dealership. Just because it is a 2017 Thor Chateau motorhome does not mean the Chevy engine is a 2017, it may be a 2016. And Chevy did make changes between the 2016 and 2017 model years. Between the VIN# and a knowledgable Chevy service center, they will get it sorted out for you. My money is on the 4500.

RE: Liner hose inside drain pipe from kitchen sink?

Thank you so much for identifying this. I took another look under the sink and it is the Hepvo Waterless Valve! Now I understand what I am working with, and will replace it for her. Thanks again, you folks are great!

Liner hose inside drain pipe from kitchen sink?

Is there supposed to be a liner hose inside the drain pipe from the kitchen sink? In this case, it is a 2017 Coachmen Leprechaun 22'. My friend asked me to take a look at the kitchen sink, saying there was something stuck in the drain. To me, it looked like a piece of noodle. I used dental tools to get ahold of it and try to pull it back out, but some tore off, which turned out to be some sort of heavy latex-like material. So I went under the sink and removed the top portion of the drain pipe and found that the drain pipe has some sort of liner hose running through it. The top of the liner hose is not attached to anything and it is not the full inner diameter of the drain pipe. So water draining from the sink is free-flowing through both the liner and the drain pipe. Is it me or is this unusual? Thank you for your thoughts.
