RE: Ute lake or Conchas Lk Stae Pks, New Mexico?

I looked at Santa Rosa lake on Google Earth and it looks like a big Mud hole. Is it normally muddy water or was this just when they happened to take the picture? I'm really looking for the cleanest water. Thanks.

Ute lake or Conchas Lk Stae Pks, New Mexico?

Hi all. We will be traveling west on I-40, heading for FlagStaff, in our 31 ft. Class 'C' pulling a Toad. We want to stop a few days at either Ute or Conchas Lake for rest and bike riding. Which would you'all suggest. Just need 30 Amp and water and dump station. We don't care for muddy water.

RE: Deming NM to Holbrook, AZ Rt 180

180 from Silver City north is a beautiful, but slo uphill drive. Wonderful No frills Forest campground at Luna lake if you want to hear the Elk Bugle. If u'r going to Petrified forest to see petrified wood, don't bother. Almost none left there. Its all in Holbrook front yards. If you come into Holbrook from the south on 180 you'll pass a company that sells all you want! Very impressive display of Giant logs along the Hyway.

RE: Heading to Cades Cove. ?Route 28 Franklin to Lauada?

I'm asking of Rt 28 because I want to stay off of as much of Rt. 129, Tail Of Dragon, as I can. Hoping to only have to get on 129 near the Cheoah Dam and do the 10 miles or so up to the Foothills Pkwy. Is this doable in a 30 foot Class'C'?

Heading to Cades Cove. ?Route 28 Franklin to Lauada?

Will be heading north on Rt. 441/23 mid October. How is Rt. 28 from Franklin to Lauada N.Carolina in a 30 foot Class 'C'. Yes, I know of 'Tail of the Dragon'. Altimately going to Cades Cove....No, I don't want to drive all the way thru the park, thru Pigeon Forge and around...been there, done that. Thanks:h

RE: 2020 Jayco GrayHawk 29MVP. Do I need to add Surge Protector

Not necessary. Usually when their is a power Surge may be during a serious storm and THATS when you don't want to go out to play with the power. I 'Read' their add as saying "INCLUDED" and thats why I bought from them.. I re-read it again (10th time)today...it no longer says Included.?.?

RE: 2020 Jayco GrayHawk 29MVP. Do I need to add Surge Protector

WELL...I've received the Surge Guard from BOAT AND RV ACCESSORIES Co. They sell at their own web site and EBAY. Seems to work...BUT...it didn't come with the "Included Remote LCD readout" nor the alternate plastic weather guard! Reread their add several times and was SURE it says "Included". Contacted them. They SAY it 'Actually' says..."CAPABILITY for using Remote LCD readout included". The remote must be bought SEPARATELY! I Re-Re-read ad...6 more times... I won't be buying ANYTHING from them again.

2020 Jayco GrayHawk 29MVP. Do I need to add Surge Protector

My new 2020 Jayco GrayHawk Prestige 29 MVP is 30 Amp power. It has a Electronic power Management System to allow the TWO Air conditioners to run on that 30 amps. Question...Is this 'EMS' the same as a Surge Protector like the Progressive Industries EMS PT30X or should I add one?

RE: Surge Protector, Do I need one???

SOooo...I've never liked computers making decisions for me. Will a Surge protector keep shutting off my AC whenever IT thinks IT should? Heck...I even hate the Ford engineer who decided to 'HELP ME' by Dimming my dash lites if I turn on the headlights!!! LOL.

RE: Surge Protector, Do I need one???

Also...Many times I have found it necessary to use my 50 amp Adapter to use a parks 50 Amp plug because of poor power. Can I still do this with a 30 amp Surge protector?

RE: Surge Protector, Do I need one???

BTW; My new 2020 Jayco GrayHawk Prestige 29MVP has 30 amp service but also has 2 Air Conditioners. It has a 'Management Systen to allow 30 amps to run 2 AC's. Therefore, do I Already have a built in Surge Prootector/Supressor? :S

Surge Protector, Do I need one???

SOooo...after RV'ing since 1971 and now on our 7th Motorhome, my WIFE has been advised by a friend that we MUST have a Surge Protector even tho we've NEVER had a problem. She's looking at either, the Progressive Industries SSP-30X or the more expensive EMS-PT30X. Can anyone help with the decision. :h

RE: 2020 Jayco GrayHawk Prestige 29 MVP Water Overflow?

Now that I'm dealing with it...How do I keep bugs from climbing into those hoses?

RE: 2020 Jayco GrayHawk Prestige 29 MVP Water Overflow?

Problem Solved! There IS drain hoses. 3 small hoses extend down from the top of the fresh water tank on the left (Drivers) side of the tank.

2020 Jayco GrayHawk Prestige 29 MVP Water Overflow?

Since I got my new cement pad I've been under the coach for the 1st time. Good look at the Fresh Water tank. I don't see any Fill Overflow drain hose??? Just Low Point drains. This is my 5th Motorhome and all have had Overflow hose in case I over fill it it, it won't turn the tank into a giant water Balloon till it explodes. Any clues? :h
