RE: HUGE Propane tanks on new Backcountry models from ORV

ORV has some innovative features across the board, been impressed with they're stuff. Not sure of the necessity for 40 gallon tanks though as Propane consumption is so minimal for the most.

RE: What about a Keystone Bullet Colt 17Ft Travel Trailers?

Keystone falls victim to being such a large player in the RV industry, more units, more publicity. After extensive research and participation at many RV shows it was evident the wife found Keystone trailers most appealing. We ended up with a 2020 Outback. This is our 4th trailer of various manufacturers and every trailer required some level of handyman skills to avoid warranty.

RE: first trip of the season

Wife and I couldn't hold out any longer and did an overnighter last night. 15* last night, we ran a ceramic heater all night and heard furnace kick on quite a bit. We drank wine and listened to music, had fun.

RE: Best Full Time Living Travel Trailer?

Possibly some glass half full perspectives here.....an RV is an RV is an Rv. The wife and I travel year around in our TT and don't see much difficulty in sub temps,we're prepared and educated in these conditions. We have heated underbelly and always 2 full tanks of Propane, carry RV antifreeze for those emergencies, winterize on location if need be. Full hookups with ceramic heater is ideal. RV fully stocked incase of snow storm, generator backup.....preperation is everything.

RE: We lucked out - permission to camp on private property

My kind of camping for sure, consider yourself fortunate. No AC in the heat of summer would get to the wife though but other than that, all you need is an extra deep cycle battery or small generator.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

RE: Towing with Superchips tuner ?

How many miles on your truck? It may not take kindly to the extra stress at its advanced age. It's got 144K. I'm not dogging it my any means, it's just a tow vehicle. I wouldn't worry about those miles one bit. I had 456,00 when I burned up that valve seat. And if I hadn't let the fuel filter go long (90,000 miles :e) and didn't let my storage compartment flood the same weekend, nothing would have happened. And, I drove another 4,000+ miles with just 9-cylinders before I had time to drop it off for service. BTW - one more special service note: Make sure you regularly clean your MAF if you're running an oiled air filter. The oil can coat the MAF wire and also cause a lean condition. Yep, I run that kind of filter and yes, clean the MAF sensor wires often. Good point. That's a ridiculous bunch of miles you got out of the Hemi.

RE: LT tires on your TT? Let the fight begin

Where ya'll towing, experiencing all these tire issues. 20 years - 4 trailers - not a single tire related issue. 2 sets of Duro's , 2 sets of trailer kings.

Wife wanted another trailer and wasn't quite ready for a truck yet. Additional weight of new trailer was whipping the truck before I modified it but I'm still in spec.

RE: Towing 20' camper with Jeep Liberty

That depends on your Liberty as they range from 2000-5000lb towing capacity. The specified trailer is quite small and towable but not safe if your liberty is on the lower end of the towing spectrum. What is the specs on your Liberty.

RE: Towing with Superchips tuner ?

Thanks for the replies. I do tow in the mtns quite a bit, 8-11 % grades, 7500 lb trailer, we shall see. I did replace my plugs to Iridium and opened the gap slightly. And yes, valve seats are a concern. Hope it holds for 1 year.

Towing with Superchips tuner ?

I have an older truck " 2004 Ram 2500 " that I'd like to get one more year out it before I get into the newer stuff....maybe 6.4 Hemi, maybe 7.3 gas, who knows. Opened my truck up with headers, high flow exhaust and intake then installed Superchips 91 octane tune and was very surprised to see it wake up, mainly timing advance I'm sure. What harm could I possibly do if I'm watching tranny temps and engine temps while towing. The 5.7 Hemi runs better than ever currently.

RE: Evoke Model A

Hmmm, after checking out that trailer I'm actually impressed by the specs, price ain't bad, very good load capacity, bright interior, eye catcher. Why not !

Anybody know anything about twin falls resort state park. Looks like it's close to the trail system for RZR riding. Yes, it's right there in ATV heaven.

RE: Med. travel trailer with bed and "living area @ oppsite ends

That layout sounds like our current trailer.....2020 Outback 252urs. Fold down couch at opposite end of bedroom when adult daughters show up.
