Oregon state campgrounds

Does anyone know the minimum and maximum lead time for making reservations with Oregon state campgrounds?
Is it within 30 days only or as far out as 6 months?
Thanks, Larry

Airxcel Non-powered mechanical freeze valve

Does the airexcel Non-powered mechanical freeze valve need to be replaced once it does its job of opening and draining potentially freezing water?

30 amp vs. 50 amp question

I have a spot reserved at an Rv park, but all they had available was a 30 amp hookup.
So...
-do I still put my 50 amp EMS In line after the 30/50 converter?
-I know I can’t run both a/c units, but can I still run the heat pump?
So much to learn with this new unit!
Thanks, Larry

Suburban tankless water heater winterizing

Anyone have a newer unit with this type of water heater that has had to winterize it?
Looking for how to do this, and the owners manual is stuck on a standard tank model...

RE: Keystone Alpine and B&W hitch question

Thanks for the replies...I currently have a Reese Revolution pin box, so I’m not in the habit of worrying about back window clearance.
Is there a standard window to king pin measurement that I can check on my rig?

Keystone Alpine and B&W hitch question

I have a 2012 F350 SRW and short bed...wondering if I need to get a new “slider” hitch or will a conventional hitch work with the newer front cap designs?
Thanks, Larry

RE: Wheel bearing maintenance interval

Thanks for the replys. The factory DID NOT do an adequate grease job, nor did the delivery dealer who “said” he re- packed all bearings...which led to a complete replacement of all bearings two years ago. The trailer shop here in Reno, Kro-Built Trailers, did the job right (including properly adjusting the electric brakes).
So I’m thinking that I’ll wait at least one more year before having it done again...especially since campgrounds are still closed at this time. ??
Take care all, Larry

Wheel bearing maintenance interval

I’ve seen posts that say to repack every 12 months or 12,000 miles...since I only tow a little over 1,000 miles per year, do really have repack every 12 months? Does the wheel bearing grease degrade as the trailer sits in storage?
Thanks, Larry
