RE: Emergency Medical Care in Yuma?

we have had great service in casa Grande both in the ER and Banner hospital. chevman Casa Grande is a little far from Yuma yes it is 175 miles. My thought is they like to hang around the foot hills so would know about what hospital care is available. I might have misread their meaning but also sorry for the wife. We have experience health issues for my wife last 2 winters. chevman

RE: Any one else giving up snow birding due to the covid

We are staying home because My wife had a very bad broken leg in Jan and then had the Chinese virus later in the nursing home and then I sold the alpenlite fifth and then we bought another trailer for her to feel better. So maybe next winter or maybe we might never rv again. chevman

RE: Any one else giving up snow birding due to the covid

We are staying home in Wa St 19 winters (6 months) in Casa Grande Az. Hope next winter will let us travel. Wife's badly broken leg in January also is a reason for not traveling. Be safe everybody. chevman

2- 6 volts batteries

Never had or wanted 2 6 volt batteries but now we have this setup. I have a viair 12 volt air compressor. My question is how to connect the clips to use the compressor, I am thinking a red to one battery and a black to the other???? chevman 2021 Jayco white hawk TT

RE: Dualie vs SRW benefits?

we drove back to Washington st from Az for Christmas in 2015 and 2016. 2 WD 05 chev dually in very poor conditions and never spun a tire. Drove 40 miles in snow unplowed miles and had to guess where the road was. That short cut was not short this time. Of course a 4x4 would have been better for the mind but we didn't have the issues many were having. chevman

RE: I need new Tires

We have e rated 15" endurance tires on our 2021 whitehawk TT. first think I noticed is the tread seems to be thin. Not like our G-614s have been. chevman

RE: Wierd water gauge problem

Because we spent 6 months every year since 2001 in the very bad Arizona water I would buy 6 gallons of vinegar at costco and fill the water tank using another 6 gallons of water . Turned the pump on and when the water arrived at the faucet I would turn off and do the same to others. Let it soak for a few days and drain and flush. chevman

RE: Goodyear Endurance Tires VS Carlisle Trail HD Tires

How do the load rating compare? I already know it would be the endurance because that is what I will tow home the 8th. chevman

RE: Norcold fridge issue

Norcold fridges have a issue that needs to be reset. first thing is to make sure no gold or yellow is showing on the back of the fridge on the outside looking in. A pencil magnet will reset it but I might not be able to tell the exact spot. The reset switch will come on and another way is to unplug one or two wires and I don't know where but you might ask or look up to see if what I just said comes up . You had no answers so maybe you will get more information after my post to correct me or add to. Hope so. chevman

RE: 2017 Ford dually tire valve stems access help please.

chuck your problem is fords have a very nice wheel but not for adding air. Been that way for years and because of that I learned to like our steel wheels. Hand can go into the area to air the tire. chevman

RE: Trailer Brakes Shorting Out - Controller shows overload

Do the trailer brake wires run inside the axles from one side to other? If Yes...wire probably has been chaffed causing insulation to break down. that is what happened to us and the fix is run a wire on the rear of the axle tube and zip tie and connect the wires. chevman

RE: Rancho Shocks

I also switched from Rancho to Bilstein's on our 2001 chev dually. Maybe just because but Bilstein's on 05 chev. chevman

RE: Anyone pulling over 12K with new Ford 7.3 Gasser?

We had a 2001 8.1 gas engine and 3500 2wd dually. We have a 2005 3500 2wd duramax and have driven on I-84 many time with both trucks. Going down the cabbage hill for 6 miles in Oregon there was no difference in being under control towing the same fifth. chevman Does your 2005 Duramax have an aftermarket exhaust brake. Exhaust brakes are now standard equipment and make a big difference No it just has the allison holding back going down a grade. Has worked great on any mountain we have towed on. Heavier fifth wheels should have a truck with the exhaust brake. chevman
