RE: Dometic roof top ac unit

The cost of repairing could be as expensive as replacing with a new one. We replaced both roof A/C's with 15K units for $1200 including new thermostats. Two 15k units and thermostats installed for $1,200.00 That’s the deal of the century.

RE: building new campground

When traveling and looking for an " over nighter" the FIRST thing I look for is distance from the highway.... We are NOT retired and are traveling to get to our destination for vacation... IF I were a full timer, that would give me a different outlook on that.. As far as tax's and regulations, I agree that as soon as that is no longer a WORKING FARM, you will lose that benefit, whatever it may be.. What it's called is farm deferral of taxes. Farmers get a big reduction of property taxes as long as they farm it. A problem arises when someone new buys the property, and decides not to farm it. When this happens, they have to pay all the back taxes to the beginning of farm deferral, no matter how far back it is. Nobody typically does this, but some buyers are unaware of the law when they buy, and the County hands them a really big bill. I'm in Oregon and we have that here. If it is were I’m thinking it is they are farming some grain and hops for beer. I’m sure that would keep that going along with some rv pads

RE: Water heater replacement with coolant lines...

Go to Home Depot and pick up barbed by thread adaptor and cap. Pull hose off heater and shove in hose. Should loose next to nothing. I think mine is 3/4 inch or maybe 1inch. https://i.imgur.com/4SUClayl.jpg

RE: Quality of Class C

When looking at used mh's quality at the build is a moot point. You want proof of how they were maintained. A lesser quality mh that was well maintained is far better than the best quality that wasn't. As far as roof material - Bumpy has this thing that it has to be fiberglass - that's his criteria, it doesn't need to be yours. Plenty of TPO roofs out there for decades without issues. Nevermind the winnie fiberglass roofs have been known to peel back going down the road. How can my (Winnebago) Itasca's Class C one piece fiberglass roof peel off when the vents, air conditioner, and TV antenna are mounted on the roof using bolts/screws that go all the way through to the coach ceiling and/or the aluminum framing inside the coach ceiling ... plus having roof caps on the front and rear of the one piece roof that are attached to the coach's vertical sidewalls? IMHO, any RV roof construction method that does not consist of a single piece of fiberglass or consist of aircraft riveted aluminum panels - is used because it's cheaper for the RV builder. https://i.imgur.com/X5rw3Nfl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ZB4gRrhl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/jNHW55Yl.jpg

RE: Air conditioner repair near me

I got a feeling he is talking about the chassis air. I can't see a dealer changing a compressor in a rooftop air and at $1500,00 you can get a new rooftop and have it installed for that kind of $$
