RE: Dishwasher install issues on 2016 Fleetwood Excursion

Very simple except for what to do for counter. I/2 shark bite tee,1/2 shark bite x 3/8 compression straight stop, dishwasher tailpiece, brass dishwasher 90*(3/8 male ipsx3/8x3/8 compression)some soft copper 3/8 tube. Start at sink cabinet and drill 1-1/2 hole in bottom corner and next one until you reach old stove location. Run your copper and hose change tailpiece cut in tee with valve. Loop the drain line from the hole you drilled in the sink base cabinet and loop it up to the under side of cabinet down to dishwasher tailpiece connection and use hose clamp to secure. If possible zip tie up the hose that you looped up to the under side of counter.

RE: Camping Lights

We stayed at a campground a few years ago and had three travel trailers around us and all three had their trailer lights on and flashing 24/7. Want to talk about annoying.

RE: Windshield Shades

Magna Shade didn’t want 50 more holes for snaps with 50 more leak potential to cause damage. Also no ladder needed and goes up and down in 30 seconds

RE: Dometic roof top ac unit

The cost of repairing could be as expensive as replacing with a new one. We replaced both roof A/C's with 15K units for $1200 including new thermostats. Two 15k units and thermostats installed for $1,200.00 That’s the deal of the century.

RE: building new campground

When traveling and looking for an " over nighter" the FIRST thing I look for is distance from the highway.... We are NOT retired and are traveling to get to our destination for vacation... IF I were a full timer, that would give me a different outlook on that.. As far as tax's and regulations, I agree that as soon as that is no longer a WORKING FARM, you will lose that benefit, whatever it may be.. What it's called is farm deferral of taxes. Farmers get a big reduction of property taxes as long as they farm it. A problem arises when someone new buys the property, and decides not to farm it. When this happens, they have to pay all the back taxes to the beginning of farm deferral, no matter how far back it is. Nobody typically does this, but some buyers are unaware of the law when they buy, and the County hands them a really big bill. I'm in Oregon and we have that here. If it is were I’m thinking it is they are farming some grain and hops for beer. I’m sure that would keep that going along with some rv pads

RE: Water heater replacement with coolant lines...

Go to Home Depot and pick up barbed by thread adaptor and cap. Pull hose off heater and shove in hose. Should loose next to nothing. I think mine is 3/4 inch or maybe 1inch.
