RE: Blocked Caller Question

From Verizon's website: Callers you have blocked will hear "Welcome to Verizon Wireless. The number you are trying to reach has calling restrictions which have prevented the completion of your call." People attempting to text to your number will get a notification that delivery failed.

RE: Tesla Semi truck unveil & test ride set for Oct 26th !

We get free supercharging as long as we own our two Tesla's due to when we bough them. Tesla does charge for new owners now, the specific rates are based on what the local utility company charges. The average is $.25/KW. Tesla purchased in 2017 or earlier got free supercharging.

RE: Living in a Trailer

The very first thing I recommend is that you do not make this decision until 1 year has passed. Give yourself some time.

RE: banking when full timing

We use Ally Bank. They have a no ATM fee if you use an AllPoint ATM. No issues and really very happy with Ally Bank.

RE: How to start a Tesla at -34C

Wife and I own both a model S & Model X. I take the S skiing to local mountains and once a year to Lake Tahoe. The cold really sucks down the battery. Maybe a 50% loss of range? At minus 34c that must really lose power. Still, great cars!!

RE: Times Up, Told You So, DirecTV is Dead

Space X is building a system to cover the world, but first North America. I am on the wait list to Beta test the new service. We cut the cord so to speak and only have internet from Cox Communications. We rely solely on cell phones and use Hulu for TV via internet. https://www.starlink.com/

RE: MOTORHOME sales questions.

We used NADA to get an idea We actually listed in in RV Trader. Then got calls from several dealers who were looking to add to the used fleet. Of course low balled. We ended up actually selling it locally on www.Nextdoor.com, a neighborhood app that our city uses to connect neighbors.

RE: Power cord

Check the water level in the battery frequently. Some say monthly, I usually did it every two weeks.

RE: Removing dinette from a Newmar Bay Star

In our 2014 Allegro Open Road, due to fabric disintegrating, Tiffin shipped us out a new dinette. It was up to us to find the labor. My son and I looked at it, and removed and installed the new new dinnette. ez peezy!! Just a few screws.

RE: Tiffin Allerro

We have a Allegro Open Road 36LA. The only major problem we had was that the dinette material started to disintegrate. Bad choice of materials were used. Took two phone calls to Tiffin to get someone with authority to offer a repair. Tiffin shipped us a whole new dinette in 2017. Was easy for my son and I to remove the old dinnette and install the new dinette. That really has been the only major issue. There have also been a recall for the tow hitch.
