RE: RV Ovens

I guess I'll be the first to advise - not a pizza stone but - an airbake cookie sheet. We've used one for the past oh so many years and can bake anything we want. Just put it under whatever you're cooking and it will keep the bottom from burning while the top cooks evenly. X2 on the airbake cookie sheet

RE: How long to return to camping after open heart surgery

I had 5 blocked arteries when I got my surgery. The doctor told me it would be three months before he would release me back to work as a LEO. But then I tore my heart and I never went beck to work. If you go to cardio rehab and exercise in three or four months you should be good for camping. Make sure you have your blood pressure under control and camp close to hospitals for a few more months.

RE: Rv show likes and dislikes

Went to the Tampa super RV show. Looked at a RV brand that everyone says is high quality and several (internet) full time families own. For the price I expected better quality materials to be used in the construction of their units. All the factory rep could talk about was how well the oil workers in Canada loved their units. I was really disappointed and crossed this manufacture off my short list. Many of the units had a lot of people in them making it hard to take a good look at them. While the show was big and crowded I did enjoy it. Total miles walked that day 11.4.

RE: Batteries - Diesel Trucks

My 2008 would not start up one morning. So I put my battery jump starter on the truck. But it would not start. I then also attached my battery charger and placed it on 50 amp start. It took both to provide enough amps to fire up the glow plugs and start my truck. I replaced both batteries. DW ran my battery tester over so I could not check my batteries. I know it was my fault for leaving my battery tester on the driveway next to my truck while I was working on it.
