RE: 2001 Diesel Pusher with Dynomax Chassis

In almost 190,000 miles, the only things that have been replaced on the chassis is a front wheel bearing and that is an off the shelf part and a ride height valve which is also an off the shelf part. I would not shy away from the DynoMax chassis. The only coaches on the chassis is Country Coach and a few National RV's

RE: 2001 Diesel Pusher with Dynomax Chassis

The DynoMax chassis was built by Country Coach and yes, they are no longer produced. There are no parts on that can't be found

RE: How to spot a good disconnect switch?

I don't know but the BlueSeas and the Perkos are very popular and have been around a long time. More expensive tho. These would be my choice

RE: Freightliner chassis

Lots of Freightliner chassis out there, I wouldn't worry about it. FL is being used on some pretty high end coaches and if it was that bad, they wouldn't be used.

RE: 50 Amp service question

Startup on each is probably 13-15 amps and running at 8-10 amps each. If you are seeing 43 amps, could you be counting the electric element in the water heater and the charger in the inverter?

RE: Typical AGM warranty

I had a set of LifeLines go 10 years and the only reason I changed them out was because of a little leakage around a couple of posts. I reinstalled LifeLines

RE: black tank flush port

The black tank sprayer is totally independent of anything else in the bay. From the female hose connector, there should be a back flow preventer valve and then pipe to the sprayer. It is wise to open the black valve just in case you forget you are flushing the tank to keep it from overflowing

RE: Stairs not working

I had trouble with steps like that. I found that the manufacturer had grounded the steps to the steps!. Moved ground to a good chassis ground and no more problems

RE: Laptop Shuts Off

RE: Running a residential fridge on 12 volt power?

I have gone over 20 hours without power to my residential refer due to a bad transfer switch. Everything was still frozen, the refer portion was still within safe temperature limits. You do need power to the refer 24/7

RE: Class-C'ers Unsecured EZ-Up Meets Side of Nice Prevost

"I am sure that the Prevost owner has insurance and although a pain, will not cause him financial distress." So you are saying the Prevo guy should pick up the tab? I don't think so
