RE: Using my Class A in freezing weather?

No manufacturer will say, take mine to the cold weather. We have spent time at 4 nights and 14 day temps. Do not leave sewer hookups out nor your fresh water hose, work off your internal tanks. Keep your slides in to reduce the area you have to heat. Also keeping the slides in, reduces the amount of ice that will accumulate on the toppers. Put some extra heat in the sewer bay with a 60 watt bulb. Put a few extra blankets on the bed. Keep a vent open to the coach such as a roof vent to help keep moisture collection down.

RE: Multimeter recommendation?

EE here. Go with a cheap Harbor Freight meter. Most of your work on an rv will be continuity, either you have it or you don't type trouble shooting. Someone mentioned dropping a cheap meter so buy 2.

RE: Black Water Valve Will Not Close

Better stuck open than closed. Replace the valve and be done with it. Consider yourself lucky and go buy a lottery ticket.

RE: Quartzite?

can you get in and through the big tent on a mobility scooter? Depends on what time of the day you go. Mornings are pretty crowded but the afternoons are less so. But, yes you can make it, just don't expect to drive full speed ahead. The tent does get full but I think the Covid protocol will open it up

RE: Tow bar options & instillation advice

Either Roadmaster or Blue Ox. The main thing is to get one that will ensure your toad arrives at the campground at the same time you do. When I was fitting out the toad, I went to Camping World and bought the brand that was on sale, which was Roadmaster at the time. Been using them since '99. I have upgraded the bar as they came out with the better mouse trap. I have towed a '00 GC which the wife totaled, a '99 GC as a replacement and now tow a '13 GC using the Roadmaster 9000 braking system

RE: Electric Smoker for Long Term

You didn't say if you are going to carry it or leave it on the patio. If going to carry, then the Green Mountain Davey Crockett can't be beat. If you are leaving it on the patio, a Yoder would be my choice assuming that money is no object.

RE: Class c cover

Yup, no cover. If there is wind, the cover will beat the finish off of the coach. Best to winterize, take the batteries out and let it sit

RE: AC doesn't keep up with heat

Sounds like the AC is working fine. A 20 degree difference is about all that can be expected from a roof air
