RE: Who can be the last poster?

The A/C in the plant is working at last. Of course the outside air temperatures are only reaching the low 80's. Once it gets hotter the system will start short cycling and trip off line.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Last night I got a call from the RV dealership that I could pick up my camper this morning. With a several hundred mile trip in the plans, I had them inspect the bearings/brakes. Normally this is something I can do but it seems like I have less time to do things. Maybe as I'm getting older I do things more slowly, or maybe there is just so much other crp in our lives, it all gets jammed together.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Last thing I would want to do is break the window out. It would probably take a year or two to replace it and then we would freeze in the winter.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

That would be a great idea, but the window doesn't open.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Last year (and the year before that), we were supposed to get a new A/C system for the control room at work. Never happened. Today it's 90 degrees inside and 89 outside. Don't know how much longer this is going to go on before someone reports this. There are federal guidelines about work space temperature limits.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Yesterday I asked her that since she has slept since last night has she changed her mind about where we're camping and she said she hadn't but would keep me informed...

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Talking with my wife last night and she said she would rather go camping at the Chain O' Lakes State Park instead of up in Fennimore. It's about 130 mile closer and has electric service. No cow patties though. Wonder if they'll let me bring some in?

Last first for today. Or may be first last only. Well, obviously not the last last

RE: Show your mods!!

That back bunk looks about as hard to get into as in my ROO 233S. Especially if you have any girth to you or aren't very flexible. Once the front slide is opened, there's plenty of room to get there (close to three feet width) Mine has the armoire next to the bathroom that takes up a little of the access to the back bunk, so I only have about 18" That's what my daughter loves about it. It gives a lot more privacy. Old post but I've been off here a while. We just went to the Jellystone park in Caledonia, WI with 2 of the grandkids. The 12 year old granddaughter slept in the back bunk and loved the privacy.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

If you want to be the last last that lasts last, you need to post just before midnight.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

The last time I squished cow patties between my toes, I was probably 10 years old. We looked for the fresh ones in the cool mornings.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Slight chance of rain here this weekend, more of a chance on Monday. I don't care as I'm working all 3 days. At last, my wife decided on where she wants to go camping in August. We will be going to the cow pasture in SW Wiscoland where we have gone before. My family used to go there regularly when I was a mere lad. Boondocking in a pasture the cows use to get to the grazing pasture right next to a meandering trout stream. No TV or cell phones. Just fish, camp and relax.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

At least the weekend wasn't too bad. Wife had to go to the ER last Friday with severe back and abdominal pains. Turns out she has a 2mm Kidney Stone. YAY HER! Hoping it passes today because it's half-price margarita night...

RE: Who can be the last poster?

My high school burned (disgruntled student), and was rebuilt into something I've never seen the inside of. Sometime I wish I could tour it and sometimes I would rather remember the last one.

RE: Who can be the last poster?

My cover is getting a little tattered and the Velcro is coming off where the stitching has rotted. It lasted 15 years or so. Not going to replace it when it finally goes since I don't want to buy one and not have it fit a new truck

RE: Who can be the last poster?

Not seeing how shorter cover will last on a longer bed
