Tires and their pressures

Ok folks - let me know what you think on this. We have a F350 1 ton diesel SRA and tow a 36 foot 5th wheel. We have had 2 of our Yokahama Light Truck 10 ply tires go bad within 10 days. The first got a bubble at the bead and started loosing air. Thankfully we caught it before it went fully flat. The second one literally exploded on us yesterday. We had just pulled off the freeway and were on a 6 lane street when it went. It also took out something in our week old breaks and we lost all of our rear break fluid. So here's my question to you all. We called Yokahama this morning and were told that you should not run the recommended tire pressure that is on the door of the truck. They told us that you were supposed to adjust the pressure based on how heavy of a rig you are towing and that the tire dealer can help us figure out what that should be. In all of the years we have been towing 5th wheels (3 different ones and 3 different sizes) I have never heard of this. What say you folks?

RE: Cover For Fifth Wheel

All good but make sure its secure. If you have any dust in your area you may want to reconsider. Dust under the cover and wind = sandpaper. If you get any wind at all be sure to cover any sharp edges. Bubble wrap and painters tape. Stairs, antenae(s) Anything with a 90 degree corner needs wrapped if you get any wind. Best of luck!

12 v water pump possessed?

When I turn on my 12v water pump it shoots water out of the city water hookup inlet. I would assume their is a check valve issue. Anybody know where the valve might be, or is it part of the pump. 36 ft Montana 2014 Thanks in advance! Jim

Onan Generator error code

I have a newer Onan Generator 5500w propane. It has worked flawlessly for 3 years. I also start it from time to time and do routine maintenance. Now it starts runs a few seconds and dies. I get the #36 error code. ( For those not familar with Onans if something is wrong the start stop switch will flash dots and dashes to indicate an error code which you can then refer to in the manual.) In this case it is #36 engine stop fault (engine stopped without command controller) The only solution it lists is to check for propane supply. Which both tanks are full. Any ideas how to proceed from here? Thanks in advance. Jim
