RE: This net is dying!

Probably a good idea, but all of the ones I currently use, I have them saved. Its just the old ones that were before any ap existed. Back then I was too young and dumb to make note of them.

RE: This net is dying!

Oh my! I too have a couple of sites that are so old that I have forgotten the pass word for. What a mess. Something to turn over to my nerd daughter I guess.

RE: This net is dying!

Thanks shelbyfv and Michelle.S. I agree about posting of pictures. I gave up on it because it is difficult to post them. But then I dont have many pics I want to post anyway. Anyway I said what I needed to say, so now I need to shut up. Have a great day everyone.

RE: This net is dying!

And there, You have it. Maybe one or two non grump verse s three or so old crabs. As to young people, they use electronics more than any one else. Why are other social commenting places going like crazy and not here? I am going to shut up because this is not a winning topic. Someday there will be no one here but the crabby commenters who fly under the radar because they phrase their comments craftily. I was hoping If I said something people would recognize themselves And strive to be better, friendly and politer. But be as you will.

This net is dying!

This net used to be a hot place for information and just meeting up with friends. There has been too many crabby snotty people on here and made it uncomfortable for new people to post. I might get roasted for this, but I dont care! We have a couple of posters on here that are knowledgeable and friendly. On the other hand we have at least one old crabby person who is so snotty it makes you not to want to post. I have experienced both. Even some of the moderators have been much less than they should be. I have ONE chain that I have been following and there are a couple of complainers on that. If you dont like something, DONT READ IT! Can we change this? Can we invite our friends here to a friendly place? Now, just give me a minute to put my body armor on and you can take shots at me. OK, Have at it!

RE: Early Television

Thank you all for posting your memories. I have enjoyed reading them! Please dont stop telling memories. People tend to forget things that happened. Again, Thank You!

RE: ALWAYS something!

But, have you noticed that when you are motor home shopping, "Everything works well, no problems ever"? Actually we had a 2007 revolution and everything did work well. Sold it to a lovely family and last I heard it is still going strong and they are happy. Husband was very ill and we sold out. He has passed away , but I still miss camping.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

Bruce, I know you are the moderator. But, if there is a few days gap in the posting, I wonder whats happening. I have come to think of the posters on this thread as friends. Yes, the rebuild brought us in. but we have all been following this do it yourself project for some time. BTW, thank you for your long term of service to this net. I appreciate you so much.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

Ron, I dont know if anyone on here has a way to check and see if he is ok. The last thing he was working on was the roof with glue. so my mind has imagined all kinds of things.

Gentlemen, it is his life, his motor home, his business. We are just here to read. Anyway, thats why I come here. Not much on RVnet to read the last few years.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

I am in the upstate of South Carolina and Usually this time of the year we have lots of RVs traveling thru. This year we have had some, but not as many as usual. Most of the people I know have said, yes they are going out , but not as far as they usually do.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

I havent seen too many rv's on the road for the last few weeks. I am assuming it is because fuel is too expensive.

RE: Anyone interested in 83 Pace Arrow Tear down and Rebuild?

So far, looks like the Bondo Fiberglass resin over Fiberglass cloth is a winner. We used that several times to repair vettes. Bondo gets heavy if you use a lot of it.
